Hard to pick a rating for this location. Many of the times Ive come here, the staff is incredibly slow, even when there arent many people. On the flip side, Ive been here when its busy and theyre much faster, but the warm food is rushed and isnt warm after they heat it up. My first exposure to Pauls was in Belgium, so you can imagine what its like to eat at a French cafe in a French-speaking country. The locations around DC just arent the same. I appreciate when I go in and the staff are more attentive, but its hit or miss sometimes

Good coffee except for one day when they have this lady who thinks a cappuccino has to be cooking hot with all flavours killed and got pretty aggressive when we asked for another one. The correct answer is not Ima make ya a cold one baby uhuuum. Rude, should not work in any service job.
