Ty, we had a consultation by phone and exchanged 39 emails while going over your case. That's quite a few emails for someone who isn't supportive of your rights. During our emails, you requested a second call. I scheduled that call for the time you gave me, and you missed the call. You did not "call right back" (saying you did is defamation, which is not a threat, it's the law), you never called back at all. I sent you an email two days later going over my honest opinion that you would not be successful in your case and should not spend money on it, and asked you to give me a new time so we could talk. You responded by saying in part "go f*** yourself" and then wrote this review. So in a way I should say thank you for allowing me to illustrate that (1) I will listen carefully to everyone who contacts us, to the tune of 39 emails and multiple phone calls if that's what it takes; and (2) I will be honest even if you don't like what I have to say. I'm sorry you experienced what you went through, but after a lot of effort, I could not find a way to help you. Hopefully someone else can, just be careful out there because not all lawyers are as honest as me.

This lawyer is a joke he even threatened me that he was going to take me to court for defamation last time I checked we live in America and if I have a opinion or fact to bring to the table then welcome to freedom of speech take that from a true American. you wanted to tell me that my case is grim when I got more then enough evidence to make my case but if you called me at a time that was more convenient as I am a lyft driver and even when I missed your call you never answer when trying to callback remember I got the emails and call logs from Tmobile and how I tried to call back asap after missing a call so this is not defamation this is fact and threatening a client legal action just because I said I was going to put a review of my experience with you is wrong and unethical better yet ill make a complaint to the GA Bar about this as well especially with a threat Like that. take me through a court issue like that when I am a victim of this discrimination suit I am trying to peruse this is my experience and I would not RECOMMEND this firm or Kirby this is not what I was expecting from a attorney who is supposed to be supportive and actually fight for our rights in America.

DO NOT HIRE! I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! On a scale of 0-10, I rate this firm a negative 100. In my opinion, the worst firm ever. If you value your career, or your hard earned money, run away from this lazy, inept, cowardly, gutless firm. If I could turn back the hands of time I would, and steer clear of this firm. In fact, if they were all I had, I would still represent myself. As someone who has been down this road once before, I was pretty familiar with the process and the ends and outs. During my prior case, the case was not merely as strong as this one was. I easily won that case. This case, from beginning of discovery, it was vital to be totally engaged and file motions and obtain records, fight for electronic video evidence or documents we did not have. Amanda Brookhuis, she was flat out terrible. She was weak, I'll prepared, always unavailable, did not review my case, my files, or even my strong background and history. She knew nothing about me and acted as if, she cared, but often ignored me or the facts I presented. My history, background and reputation was outstanding. I hired The Kirby Smith Firm at the beginning of discovery, which meant they had to be engaged and fight for any evidence or files we did not have. Including important video evidence, which I feel would have easily won my case. However, both Kirby and Amanda strongly believed the video evidence was not needed or was not important to my case. Multiple claims pending in court and they were all very strong. Since assigned, Amanda Brookhuis literally decimated my case from the beginning of discovery until I severed ties with the Kirby Smith Firm on September of 2019. Prior to my deposition, Amanda instructed for me to" say very little and allow her to lead during the deposition." BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! Word to the wise, if red flags ever reveal to you an incompetent attorney, whos not strongly advocating on your behalf, speak up and advocate for yourself. Amanda just sat there, stupidly allowing the opposing attorney to grill and shred me for almost 10 hours and she hardly ever objected to a damn thing, she did not even defend my history and outstanding background and reputation. Led me to believe she was law school pals or best buds with opposing counsel. Also, revealed to me she knew nothing about my case and did not review anything about me. In fact, while on record, she did more to hurt my case by responding to the opposing counsel that I never gave her any files or documents in question. For the record, I gave both the opposing counsel and my so called attorney, Amanda milk crates and bins full of facts, documents, and compelling evidence. ThousandsRecords were sent to the opposing counsel via certified US Postage during discovery. Therefore, for Amanda not to defend this, clearly shows not only her unfamiliarity, it shows her extreme inept and incompetence as an attorney. While in the lobby waiting for depositions to begin, Amanda was more interested and mesmerized by the opposing counsels marbel floors and posh offices than she was with my case. Saying to me," wow, look at this place. It's incredible and the marbel is wonderful. " She was defeated before we began. During, she never objected or defended my position hardly ever. She came without any evidence or even my accomplished resume. Defendants' deposition, she came with almost nothing, except a yellow pad, pen and a list of a few questions. Again during Sept. 2019 MSJ Hearing. What a disaster! This ended my case. Her deposition to other side lasted a mere 1.5 hours. Very inept and incompetent. Disorganized and flustered, could not handle pressure. Throughout the discovery period, I was steadfast very firm in my requests to Amanda and Kirby to file motions for Sanctions, produce, get records, to obtain anything we did not have, including important video, never happened. List goes on. I believe they are not only inept but working with other side. I L NEVER RECOMMEND KIRBY SMITH FIRM TO ANYONE. I ALSO HAVE DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT MY OBJECIVE REVIEW OF THIS FIRM.

I felt there was an unlawful practice going on within my workplace. I won't go into details but after talking to a number of different law firms and stating my case. I was always referred to someone else or their case load was already full. Then I went researching for Law firms that handled this type of situation and found Kirby G. Smith. I am so happy the other law firms turned me away because during my consultation. Kirby gave it to me straight. He didn't sugar coat it and make it seem like this was a done deal. He advised me of different outcomes that could happen and I was thankful for that. Also, whenever I had a question, Kirby himself or someone from his law firm would always get back to me with a straight, very well explained answer. I would recommend him and his Firm to anyone who feels they were done wrong by their employers

Andy, some items in your review need to be addressed. You contacted us on Friday, September 4, in the afternoon. Due to the late submission of your form and the holiday, we did not receive your contact form until coming in on Tuesday, September 8. We reached out by text that week asking you to provide us with more information, which we typically do when the submitted form does not include much information. That text said nothing about whether we could or could not help you, it simply asked for more information about your situation so we could determine whether we could help you. You assumed this was a bot; it was not, it was one of our intake specialists - clients and potential clients will only communicate with real people here. Rather than providing any information, you left this review. We then called and texted you to explain the confusion. You did not respond. We contacted you again by phone and you answered. You were asked if we could still assist you with your issue and you stated you found other counsel and did not want any further assistance. After leaving my initial review I was finally able to speak to a real person within 2 hours by phone and text asking me to remove this review but not any information about why I reached out to them in the first place. After waiting over a week and providing my name phone number and email I received a text stating it was more likely than not they couldn't help me. The only thing I provided them was a name email and phone number. I'm not sure what about my name email or phone number they decided they couldn't help. They seem to have a very lazy intake person. I'm sure they're great lawyers if you can get through an intake person that just wants to text people unless you leave a bad review.
