Dear Ellie, Ive looked through the camera logs and noticed that you arrived 20mins into a class and unfortunately the teacher was in the midst of a lesson and not able to open the door. On some occasions there may be someone at the desk attending to some administration work who is in a position to allow latecomers to join, however the onus is on you to arrive on time. In my experience, allowing latecomers to join can be disruptive to the flow of the class and is unfair for the teacher and the students who have arrived on time. Eileen

Someone needs to be at the front desk to open the door if the business decided to lock it during business hours. I signed up for monthly lessons for my daughter and theres no one at the front desk to open the door. I called the business and no one picked up either. Money wasted.
Attitudes are nothing more than habits of thought Super disappointed with this branch , have heard great reviews from friends and family in other states and went for a tour but the attitude of the associate was very bad and extremely rude it was a very unpleasant experience. I am surprised how some folks can be so unfriendly being in this industry Was excited to introduce the kids to class but a bad experience in the center Would not recommend this to anyone
7 Notes has been a wonderful place for our girls to get a firm foundation in musical concepts. The subtle and gentle ways that they introduced musical concepts to children plants seeds that blossom at the most unexpected times. It's amazing to see how something that you might think goes over their head works subconsciously on their formative minds and springs out in the most beautiful ways. Thank you Ms. Tan and all your staff for planting these seeds!
Enrolling at 7 Notes has been a win-win for our family! First off, the Yamaha music curriculum is superb method for learning to play the piano. Yamaha teaches you to listen first, sing the notes and THEN play and this process can be applied over and over to learn new songs on your own. On top of that, the classes are fun and fast-paced, keeping the kids engaged. It makes so much sense! Second, under the leadership of Ms. Tan, 7 Notes is a well-run music school with a top-notch team. Ms. Tan has a vision for the school that carries through in everything they do. We are extremely discerning about how we invest our time and money, especially when it comes to our children - so far, 7 Notes has been a great investment. Highly recommend!
Hi Kavita, It seems we have quite different perspectives of the events that led to the abrupt ending of our telephone conversation. Unlike our competitors, 7 Notes prides itself on being a boutique music school, where the growth and success of our students well outbalances our desire for financial growth. That being said, our teachers come from far and wide, are highly educated, and provide a service that is unmatched by any other school in the area. As such, they are well compensated, and the cost to our clients (which remains competitive) is set at a level which covers their remuneration, as well as the many other costs involved in running the business. It is my opinion that you were provided with all the information necessary to decide whether or not we were the right school for you, and your persistence in trying to get a better deal was an immediate red flag for me. It is our aim to work with parents to help their children develop a growth mindset. This shows them that with hard work they can achieve all their goals, beyond even their musical aspirations. Knowing what it takes to achieve this, we too are selective about those we choose to work with. The parent-teacher relationship is symbiotic, and it was clear quite quickly from our conversation that our mindsets were going to clash. I wish you and your children well for the future, and assure you that you have grossly misinterpreted my comment about lots of people moving from NJ to Texas - it was simply an observation. Regards, Eileen

Eileen was super rude to me while simply asking a few informational questions about the annual rates and if there was a sibling discount. She was unprofessional, made assumptions and hung up abruptly saying this program will not work for you she also made a discriminating remark that why are people moving to TX from NJ. Note I was just informationally asking questions, was not negotiating or arguing on any cost.
