This review is extremely hurtful to me as a small business. What happened was a 15 year old teenager makes a purchase of a chain, breaks it by pulling on it & has his Mom come into my store demanding I give her a new chain. I explain to her that chains dont break by themselves. I offer to repair it, but she still demands a new chain. I explain to her that if every customer was negligent with their purchases & broke things they purchased & then force me to take the hit, I would be out of business. I agree to give her a brand new chain & she signs a receipt admitting the 15 year old teenager broke the chain. It should have ended right there as customer got what they wanted & instead they post a hurtful review. Shame on you Pagan family.

I ordered an adjustable ring, first off the ring on the website said it was one left I then ordered it and got an email saying it was a glitch and it was sold out and I would have to wait for a month to receive it but I loved the fact that it would be adjustable to any finger so I was willing to wait imagine my surprise when the ring I was sent was not adjustable it was just a big ring that Ill have to pay more to get sized very disappointed in this business they are clearly doing false advertisement for this particular product this was my first and last time ordering for them I am not impressed and very unhappy with them

"These are artists as well as innovators who unite the jewelers' crafts with the artist's sensibility and aesthetic. My experience tells me that this is rare to find....very HARD to find...and totally DOPE when it happens. I believe that one's style is a reflection of how one's soul wishes to PLAY in the world....the world and the inner life don't have to be separate....The work of PLAYHARDLOOKDOPE testifies to that. I modeled at a young age and I loved it; but most importantly and what stays with me into my adulthood are the people I met: the artists and the designers who would translate their inner visions into reality, and make the real world just a little more fun, more wonderful, more beautiful. I met John's jewelry before I met the man himself, quietly tinkering behind a counter conjured from my dreams. I had recently told a boyfriend of mine how jealous I was of his jewelry - a silver cuff and a platinum chain ...sure that it would look just as good on me as it did on him.. A few days later, and I am standing in front of John's soho treasure chest of jewelry, knowing that my little wish had been answered twice over..For I love the crystal kingdom as well as the totem images like skulls and wolves. They are the stuff of tattoos ...Anyway, the counter was filled with Hephastean pieces - True craftsmen had made them....that was obvious. I have not met Ebony in person. Yet I can testify that these are true innovators, designers who know their craft. I've bought over six bracelets from PLAYHARDLOOKDOPE and I already know where I am going to get some of my guy friends their Christmas presents (I don't mean to generalize but this style I find to be valued by men who appreciate the aesthetic side of life - the artists, the surfers, or those who value the power of wearing a personal talisman). Unlike other crystal bracelets, these are made to last. Quality. Two of my favorite bracelets are a shiny tiger eye bracelet with wolves' heads for the clasp and a beautiful opaque turquoise bracelet clasped by an open skull. The crystals are QUALITY. I have a feeling they wouldn't sell any work that lacked integrity. In other words, I trust their product. IE On Thursday I had a yen to work with red jasper (a stone renowned for self-mastery of libido - sexual - energy). I immediately thought I'd find the talisman I wished for at PLAYHARDLOOKDOPE and I was satisfied immediately. I've been wearing it for the past twenty-fours and what can I say? The bracelet is a string of red jasper stones, each so unique. Like all designers I love, it is a work that unites beauty with function. Unlike jewelry that's made to be "feminine", these pieces have "weight" (they aren't heavy, more like spiritual, aesthetic armor, a living presence that feels natural for me to wear, like a doors vintage t-shirt from the '60s). I feel that these are priceless pieces, which lucky me, I can afford.
