I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor via email. Per one of my last visits, we discussed me using eye drops. I emailed to ask him if I could get the drops and he emailed back at 1AM saying "your gonna loose your vision." See picture below. I thought he got hacked, then saw another rude message a few minutes later saying he would charge $175 to talk with me. I called the office and they seemed very laissez faire about the whole thing. I responded to his messages, including the office admin email asking what was going on. I never got a response or an apology from Dr. Lamothe. The office said his email was compromised which they also did not seem to think was a big deal but nothing was ever sent out informing or warning his patients that his email and potentially our information was compromised. I would not recommend going to him or his office after this experience.

Simply unprofessional. They failed to verify coverage for both medical and vision prior to the appointment. Strongly recommend avoiding this practice as there are many other ophthalmologists/optometrists in the area.
