SOOOO Disappointed in Customer Serve Hate to do this, but Gregory gets what they deserve!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE AT GREGORY IS SOOO POOR! I Ordered a Zulu 35. They sent a Md/Large. When it arrived the hip belt felt too small (not on, rather above Hips). In consultation with Diana, she pushed for me to measure the belt webbing and they would send out an extension....explained that the the length of the hip belt was not the issue, so she said go to REI for a fitting. I did, as a result of a longer torso, we extended the length of the pack (past the large Icon) and was able to get the belt to the TOP of my hip bones. Further, REI suggested getting a hold of Diana and trying to exchange for a different pack or get a Lrg/XL Pack. So back to Diana I went, via email (9/28). Rather than read my extended email about what I learned, she said measure the webbing, we will send an extender (AHHHH!), then I've heard nothing!!! I asked for a call to discuss more, NOTHING!!! FAIR WARNING, the Zulu runs short for someone 5'11". I'll now try to get a Return Authorization. So sad to have a desired product and such bad Customer Service!!!

Tried to buy a pack online. Their order status never changes from sent to fulfillment, their phone number does not allow a message. I sent three emails using their contact page; never got an answer. Worst customer service I have ever seen!!! I am shocked they can stay in business if they make it this hard to purchase anything. Follow up, I responded within minutes to the "owner" I get an automatic reply that they are out until the 19th. Wow, could they try any harder to not sell packs?
Bought a Salvo 18 and have loved the pack. Sadly the sternum buckle broke when I was putting my water hose into the clip. I contacted Gregory by email and they responded the next day and sent a replacement out right away.
I have a medium Gregory Baltoro 85 pack. I am a medium torso and a large waist. In order for the belt to fit me on the medium pack I needed large hip pads plus an extender for the belt. The web belt is fixed to the medium size pack so they sent me a gadget with a male and female buckle on a length of webbing to insert to make the belt longer. Now everything fits wonderfully and the pack is a dream!
Hi Debbie, We are sorry to hear about your experience. The sternum strap is absolutely something that we cover and the process should be straightforward. I bought a June 30 Hydration pack and the sternum strap broke after 2 months. When I tried to get in touch with Gregory to get it fixed it was impossible. I sent two emails and no response. I tried calling several times and was put on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected. When I wrote a review on their website, they told me it didn't meet their criteria and wouldn't publish it. The backpack was decent but the customer service is absolutely awful. I wouldn't recommend Gregory Packs to anybody!
