It was a bad experience for my family. We are visiting from another city and always look forward to good Indian food. There was just one server/ owner who took 5 min to seat us. We were instructed to quickly order even when there was about 50 min + to restaurant closing. The water glasses had thumb impressions. Out of respect, we did not complain. Also, because no one asked. He got one of our order mixed up( not a big deal as we ordered a paneer makhani and got paneer mutter). Food was per our request, no complaints. We ordered the thalis that includes desert, which when we asked in the end, they ran out and he said come again, Id serve double. We literally had menus taken away from our hand and told they were out of beverages ( I was asking tea). I think overall it felt like the place was literally just rushing us to eat what was served and leave. To top it, they added a $7 gratuity that is a reflection of service,which clearly missed on this occasion. We were among the three families in the restaurant this afternoon and yet there was no desire to serve us. It was like a take away and go attitude. When I asked Mr. Salim that I need to talk to the manager/ owner. He raged and said I was acting up complaining of the service, one thing I would rarely do to an elderly. We quietly got up and moved out, determined to not go back. Its sad to be so excited about trying an Indian restaurant and feeling disappointed by the experience. I wish the management makes amends and treats all customers nicely, not focus just on one( I think that family knew the restaurant owners) and ignore/ rush others.
The food is just horrible and they had missed one of my orders during delivery. The chicken tikka masala was stale and smelling really bad. When I called the restaurant again and complained , they mentioned they will prepare it fresh again. When I went to pick up order, to my surprise I was being charged again for the reorder of chicken tikka masala and for the other item which they had missed during the first time. The staff told thats how they work and they knew the food was bad and there was no restaurant manager or owner in sight. I am never stepping into this restaurant ever again. The experience and the food cannot get worse than this
I was here on Valentines Day and enjoyed my experience very much. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive and so friendly. I am looking forward to going back soon.
