Hi Lowri, Our kitchen is currently closed 3pm - 5pm due to staffing issues and our kitchen fully closes at 8.30pm. Due to the staffing issues, when there are too many tickets for our chef to handle unfortunately we have to go to bookings only, in order to maintain food quality and to not over work our chefs. We do apologize for the inconvenience, I'm sure if you book next time we can change that 2 star into a 5:)

Turned up for food on a fairly quiet Friday evening. Told the kitchen was closed to us if we hadn't booked a table and turned us away. There were signs up saying their kitchen was closed 2-3pm each day but nothing to say we needed to book a table for any time around that (we were there around 8pm and only a handful of tables were occupied). Not sure what the story was there as their website says they serve food until 10pm. Not staff's fault but wouldn't encourage me to go back. Went to Athro Lounge instead and had a lovely evening.

Dirty bar and sticky tables... Rubbish under seats and the food was appalling... Plastic cheese on burgers that were best a 2 out of 10 (kids menu) and a goats cheese lasagne that has been blasted in a microwave salad on the side was on the turn. Really poor... Its a cheap place but really you need to do 100% better...

Walked in without booking beforehand. Nothing special, prices were reasonable and food was standard. Clean and friendly staff. Nice place for a last minute roast dinner.

Visited some years ago when it was OK, so booked a table online for dinner. Arrived, no staff. Eventually shown to a table, given a couple of menus and then ignored. No drinks order, no food order and not even busy. So got up and left after about 15 minutes. The place looks well worn and in need of a deep clean or replenishment. Having some staff who at least give the appearance of looking after customers and who are friendly, clean and tidy in appearance would also help. Recommendation? Avoid!
