I tried twice to list with Houwzer. Both agents were adamant that my house was worth only $379,000 and flat out REFUSED to list it any higher even during the greatest real estate boom in American history. They didn't even come to the house and look at it. They used old comps for houses that were older and outdated whereas mine was just one year old with beautiful high end finishes. I found this behavior both lazy and arrogant. I hired an agent from Coldwell Banker who was attentive and involved. We listed for $419,000 and settled for $414,000. I will never work with Houwzer nor recommend them.

I spoke with them back in October to sell my home on S Darien st near Christian. We did a walk through of the home and a week later he called to tell me he thought 380k was a good listing price. I intentionally did not tell him what I wanted to list at because I wanted to see what they knew. Fast forward to March, I sold my home ON MY OWN WITHOUT AN AGENT OR ANY EXPERIENCE for 70k more. Seventy thousand dollars. $450k-$380k=70k! Lol that is life changing money for most of the people on this planet including myself! That would have been an interesting enough story for a judge to hear if I agreed to the 380. Do your own research everyone. We all have the tools now to do our own work. Do not use an agent unless you absolutely have to or don't care about money.

Allison Dubovsky was the BEST. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and clearly knows exactly what she is doing. She went above and beyond doing multiple things to make the sale happened that frankly the seller's agent should have been doing. During our search she answered all of our questions, many times more than once, she got viewings scheduled right away and worked us on everything. After we under contract she was always in touch with us and the lender and through the multiple issues (due to the seller's side or from my lender, not her) that arose she always kept her composure and worked on getting us over the hurdle. The other people involved, Amanda, Ryan, Amber and everyone else, were also fantastic, but we didn't work with them as much, so I don't have as specific information. I can say that the way Houwzer works as a team and has everything in house is incredibly convenient and made us feel secure the entire time. We never felt pressured, and the whole experience with them was great Thank you!!

Had nothing but a smooth, positive experience with Houwzer and saved $8k+ at closing when all said and done. If youre looking to sell a house, Stephan is your man. He was fantastic to work with, and by listening to him and taking his advice during negotiations, I ended up saving an additional $15k+ I honestly dont know why everyone wouldnt use Houwzer when selling their house
