We returned to Mobile to visit friends, after having left a year ago. We were excited to have a reservation at Osmans one of our previous favorites. Sorry to say we were extremely disappointed, just not the same intimate restaurant anymore. Some friends had cautioned us about this several weeks ago, but we just knew it was going to be special as it was in the past. The place was crowded and noisy, customers wearing baseball caps. The food was average at best, mine and my wifes fish dishes were dry, and over seasoned. A very disappointing experience !!!

When we first walked in I could smell the dust. I ran my finger across a few things and they felt like they had not been dusted in years and the curtains were dirty looking and real out dated. On the flip side the service was great and the food was off the chain DELICIOUS! All around it was a good experience but I would like the place to be cleaned and updated before I went back and spent that kind of $$$.

I took my wife here for her birthday, I made reservations over the phone. It's in a different part of Mobile that I am not too familiar with but I managed to figure out that the small little house is the restaurant. They were pretty busy when we arrived but we got seated quickly once I mentioned that we had a reservation. The server greeted us and talk about their specials they were running that day which included food & beverages. My wife ordered the Lamb Chops and she loved it. They were cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. I ordered the Zigeuner Schnitzel. I was surprised how large this entree was. It was my first time having Schnitzel and my friend recommended I try the Zigeuner Schnitzel. I did not finish so I had to take half of it to-go. Great place to have date night. The atmosphere will set the mood for date and the service will not disappoint.
