Poor project management. It was a VERY stressful experience overall. I have been in the shop when they were working overtime to complete orders and satisfy their customers. I was impressed. Which is part of the reason I didn't hesitate to put my name behind them with my business partners. I was shocked when my order continued to get overlooked and pushed back a week past the deadline. They didn't seem to care about my order. I see the other reviews and happy to see customers taken care of, however that was not my experience at all.
I am the coach of the Mountain Crest Swim Team and the Logo Shop has by far been the worst business that we have ever worked with for our team gear. I took in all of the Illustrator files that they would need in order to complete our order. They completed our first order with no issues for the most part other than screwing up one of our swimmers names. They fixed it for us but the story goes south on our second order. We had a bunch of backpacks that needed embroidered, and so I called in and gave them the names of the swimmers that needed embroidered on the bag. A few days later I called in and asked them how close they were and they said they had not even started because I did not email the names of the swimmer over yet. I told them that I had called in and gave them to them and they said sorry and started working on it. When we got the bags finally, they were all misspelled. One of them was only halfway embroidered and wasn't even finished. I took them in to get fixed and they said that it would be 10 dollars to unpick and another 7 dollars to redo it. They tried to tell me that I had approved all of those spellings in an email. I got the email and yes I did approve it but the confusion was that I thought they were going to be using my files that I took in, and just needed to confirm that they names of the swimmers matched the names who needed a bag. I had no clue they were just going to guess how to spell their names and make their own files? What kind of company does that? I sent it in exactly how I wanted it and they made their own thing. Well I called in and talked to McKenzie, and she said she was sorry but since I had approved it, there was nothing she could do. I told her that I had given clear instructions over the phone to a person in the art department to use my files. She admitted that she had not gotten that message from them and then proceeded to tell me good luck in getting them fixed. They are a horrid company to work with unless you have a massive account with them like USU or something where its the same thing over and over again. If you are not that big and only have a handful of orders, DO NOT GO TO THEM! They will not care about you or how your stuff turns out.
LogoShop has been our elementary school's PTA apparel designers and printers for 5 years. The owner and staff are so helpful, professional and kind. I have personally worked with one of their designers, Julia, over the past 5 years and her ability to interpret design ideas is excellent as well as giving great feedback. She is also willing to make the slightest of changes to make the design exactly what I imagined. The quality of clothing and printing has kept us coming back year after year.
I was charged 15$ for a set up fee then another 15$ to make it smaller on another shirt. They heat pressed my hat to the point it changed the fabric and still charged me for it. Bottom line I am not happy with the communication on pricing or the final product. They did nothing to rectify the situation To get the same logo printed on 6 products I brought in was almost $70.
