I am a busy professional that works over 100 hours a week, lived alone in a one bedroom apartment there, barely at home, almost never cook, so there might be problems that I am not aware of but based on my type of living, here are my complains. The wood floor of the apartment cracked during the summer so they had to fix it. the hot water in the shower takes good 15-20 min to come, the toilet is kind of the most disgusting thing, they use jet flush to save water so they never flush properly. There are three elevators, one wasn't fixed for almost 9 months of my stay, huge line to get to my apartment on the 22nd floor. Management are rude for the most part and does absolutely nothing to make your experience as it should be. Not to mention the Newport mall that's is close by is not entirely safe, frequent incidents of stabbing and crimes.. I avoided going closer to the mall because of recent incidents.. It's worth mentioning the positive feedback. My apartment had good view of manhattan skyscrapers, apartment is huge size wise, the concierge are super amazing Edward and Taher mostly except for one that is always on the phone and always mixed my packages with other tenants. parking is reasonable and within close walk. Now that I moved out, as I mentioned before, barely at my place due to work, I was charged $670 from my security deposit. $350 for bathroom vanity replacement.. Seriously I get charged for your routine renovation for the next tenant? And $320 for 8 hours cleaning! Except for normal tear and wear my apartment was left the way I received it.. Back to bad management.
