Horrible if I could give this place a lower rating I would, expect to get your car broken into and them do absolutely nothing about it but expect you to pay almost 100 a month to park in a nasty basement. Jackie is the worst manager I've ever seen anyone have to deal with. Trust me you can find some place better to live

I very much enjoyed my 7 months (June 2018 - January 2019) at The East End Apt 326 and would happily move back if my situation changed. The building is beautiful and has so much history. Everything is clean and well maintained and the staff there are wonderful especially property manager Jackie, maintenance people Joe, Katie, and Liz and everyone else. I so appreciated Jackie's flexibility with my lease and while lease flexibility came with an increased price, it was well worth it given my situation. It's dog friendly and has great amenities including the outdoor porch area and fitness area. A free storage area for all residents as well for seasonal items or clutter. I parked my car in the garage and paid extra and never had any problems. I felt safe parking my car outside as well. I felt safe living there with security regularly making rounds. Neighbors were friendly and were mostly younger people. It's an exciting time in the East End as more and more commercial tenants are coming in and Starbucks and Handels popped up right next door. Two negative items (temperature regulation and concert noise) to note that I believe are more apartment specific. First, #326 had two external walls and the thermostat was upstairs on an interior wall with the bedroom downstairs (2 level loft). This created the need to set the temperature higher to sleep comfortably at night downstairs in the winter. I'm almost always cold in the winter fyi. Also I did ask my neighbors if there apartment was cold/drafty and they did not have any problems. Second, and again perhaps apartment specific, but when concerts happen it does affect your quality of life. The downstairs bedroom in particular was affected and you could not only hear but feel the sound. The East End manages this well and concerts were always done by 930 pm? Concerts occurred about 1x/month?. Otherwise I didn't have any other noise issues with only one neighboring apartment. Overall though a great place to call home.

The building it too busy between the residents, offices, restaurants, and sports teams there is always something going on. You can hear the gym and the theater in your unit, some are louder than others. There is always something broken between the elevator and the gate to the parking lot. Occasionally theyll leave mice traps all over the apartment complex. Ive needed my electronic key replaced multiple times since it stops working. Everyone is really nice but these issues are unacceptable for what residents pay to live here.
