With everything Yoga is supposed to offer including a positive, warm mind and body connection, the staff who answers inquiries for potential clients and newcomers to yoga are the worst. While calling to inquiry about classes and ask about health concerns, Phillis, who has apparently worked the front desk for eight years, literally passed me off to a man in the middle of a question (with not a word about being busy right then or anything-literally in mid-sentence). Being completely taken aback by this very unprofessional and quite frankly surprising introduction to yoga, I am convinced that this Yoga Connection is merely a guise to promote yoga not its philosophy. When I gathered my emotions about being passed off without one word that they were apparently busy checking people in, the man at the desk gave me attitude. A person inquiring about service, including private sessions at $100 per hour, gave me attitude. Wow! These people are definitely jerks who do not understand the premise behind this eastern art and philosophy. My friend enjoys the Yoga studio, Yoga Joint, out east in Fort Lauderdale. Because the Yoga Connection is the only place in west, central Broward, it must be the only reason why it is in business. Sad. Well, maybe I will try yoga out in Fort Lauderdale, albeit inconvenient, and then help invest for some competition in west, central Broward. It won't be difficult to build a better business than Yoga Connection. Buyer Beware! This is all people need to know. The Yoga Connection does not truly care about people.
This immature 20 year old charged back a purchase she made with her credit card company after taking several classes with us. She refused to pay the money she owed owed and then attempted to write multiple reviews under different names in an attempt to attack a 20 year old, reputable local business, including a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which was not published because it was bogus. She should be ashamed.

Im disappointed to say I had to experience this with my partner this afternoon. Listening to this call and seeing how this was handled is heartbreaking. Due to a fraudulent charge on her credit card. A payment did not go through for the month of March. This payment was verbally approved and should have never been charged back. We received a call from the owner from a number we did not recognize being very rude.We had all intentions of adding a new payment method as we did not know this occurred but we needed verification this was the owner because we did not receive any prior email or notice and the person we were speaking to was so unethical and unprofessional we couldnt believe our ears that this was the owner of Yoga Connection. The instructors are wonderful and this is not a complaint towards them because they are amazing. However even after updating my payment and it going through the unprofessional behavior continued. - we seeked for help through social media account - the wife of the owner Amy also added with insults. We have never in my 20 years received any form of this kind of treatment from anyone and definitely not from a business. This was all due to a $49 dollar charge that me nor my partner had any prior knowledge that this was charged back this would of been handled immediately. We found out a month later with no prior notice, email or voice mail.
So I have been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the YC staff. My favorite instructor is Paige Butkus! She is super easy to hear and understand during the class. She always seems to get more out of me than Ive ever been able to do on the mat! Its tuff to get excited for hot yoga as it isnt always easy but she always makes it fun while challenging us! 5 stars highly recommend everyone checks out her classes!
Thanks for the positive review. We know you have been coming to YC for years now and we appreciate your unsolicited support.

I've been coming to yoga connection for years now. The owner is so friendly and always has the best interests of his teachers and customers in mind. I always do hot yoga and would highly reccomend Michelle if you're up for a challenge
This is what you say (anonymously) about a 19 year family-owned business who was temporarily closed half of the past year, had to permanently close its 2nd location, and completely change its business strategy to survive a world wide-pandemic which is still raging now? You're the only one since 2019 to complain about anything, as we've received only wishes of support during this horrible time for small businesses. You're the only one here without the integrity to say their real name too. Our Software Provider and Merchant Service confirms "Robin Vashti" never took class at YC and we respectfully ask you to validate who you say you are. 1. In 19 years we've never had a physical altercation at YC. Once during the pandemic a client was verbally abusive in refusing to respect Covid safety policies by both the Teacher and Owner, with the police called and the client being banned from YC permanently. 2. Nobody is locked inside against their will, that's crazy and unworthy of a response. 3. A Cleaning Service has cleaned YC every day for 19 years and with Covid we added touchless sanitizers and sinks, an industrial fogger too.

Stay away from this place. It is poorly run and the owner is scary aggressive. I was in the lobby and watching as he picked a fight with a client that nearly got violent. It was bizarre and made everyone watching visibly uncomfortable. You could also tell that the floors hadn't been cleaned in a while. That was quite disgusting. All of that combined with the fact that staff REFUSE to let you leave once a class starts made the whole experience extremely unpleasant and I would warn anyone thinking of attending a yoga class to look elsewhere. EDIT: To the owner and his absurdly dishonest reply: This is my real name, very strange accusation. Your response says a lot more about you than my review ever could. I will let it speak for itself. Best of luck with your business strategy.
