Our firm is comprised of individuals who value our clients, Mr. Portella was no different. For three years and multiple hours of litigation with the defendant we obtained a result which to us was a great success. We firmly believed that after having conducted a trial on damages (inquest) and having been awarded 100% of the amount our client asked for, he would be exuberant with the result. Nothing was tricky or unethical as Mr. Portella would like to suggest. The Defendants simply did not want to settle and that is why we had to obtain a judgment through inquest. Poorly trained attorneys do not win awards and obtain judgments, let alone collect monies for their clients. Every client that retains our firm is aware that we go to great lengths to obtain authorizations for settlements/demands and seek approvals on positions we may take on the clients' behalf. This situation was no different. We wish Mr. Portella the best in his future endeavors.

This Law firm is very unprofessional and spam Company with unethical poor trained lawyers. In almos 3 years lost my case and send me tricky inquest for less money that the defendant have offered me before I hire them . They got pay upfront and get commission from my inquest. At end I lost lot money and get nothing. They never notified me to appeal my case until was too late. Be careful and investigate them first.

Given the defamatory nature of this review, we will limit our response. The reviewer is using a fictitious name but we recognize this past client. Everything she has written is false and we have proof. She simply wanted to benefit from our services and not pay us. We had to place an attorney lien on her file because she was trying to avoid paying us what we were rightfully owed. We worked on her case for 2 years, got a positive determination and put it in the position to successfully resolve. The client refused to cooperate once she realized we were getting close to resolution and the bulk of our fees were a % of the total recovery. We took her case to fight the injustice she experienced only to see her being unjust with us. Because she was made to pay us, she is bitter and posted this.

Attorneys Nisar and Casey are the most disgusting attorneys who will not give you your retainer fee back. They ruined my case and settlement. They are money hungry and don't doing any work. They are unprofessional and overbill. They are looking to put your case in the Human Rights Division for little to no money which they want quickly. They are only out for self.

This reviewer had no interaction with our firm has mistakenly placed this review on our page. Furthermore, upon looking at his other reviews - he gives primarily 1 star reviews to other establishments including another attorney whose fee he didnt like. I have no record of anyone by that name having contacted us otherwise I would have had the decency to address the issue privately first. However, because I believe everyone should have a right to express themselves I will respond to your 1 - Star review of my law firm. Not taking your case doesnt make an attorney incompetent - it makes them competent and honest enough to say no. Our refusal to take your money and case should show you our professionalism, integrity and ethics. Your failure to recognize that is unfortunate. Our receptionists are highly trained and amazing people that are my family. I trust them with my firm everyday without a doubt. No firm is perfect but you really targeted two key components that I am proud of my firm for.

The inquiry I sent was rejected because the lawyer "couldn't take the case". This lawyer is clearly incompetent, not to mention that the receptionist was very rude.
