These guys are thieves. I was having trouble with a hard drive and they told me it would cost $900 to fix. Then they called me a week later and said it would cost $4,500 and couldn't even guarantee my data would be there. I said not thanks. I took it over to TechRescue, which is about 5 miles away, and they fixed it for $35. That's not a typo. TechRescue charged me less then 1 percent of what TechFusion want to do the same thing.

Hello Michael. We regret that your experience at TechFusion was not satisfactory. When we received your phone for recovery, it was protected by an Android pattern lock. The phone was configured to be wiped after a certain number of failed password attempts. When our intake specialist asked for the pattern lock, it became apparent after several failed attempts on your part to unlock the phone, that you did not know what the pattern lock was. While we have the capability to bypass pattern locks, you insisted that another member of your family would know the code and that you would call us back with the correct pattern lock at a later time. As such, we had no indication from you that bypassing the lock would be necessary. Our intake specialist insisted that you or whoever knew the code return to our offices to input the pattern once it was known, however you declined this offer. Instead, you called us back with the code and insisted that we enter it based on your instructions. When a technician inputted the code to the phone, it engaged in an automatic factory reset. Once a phone is engaged in this process, nothing can be done with the phone until the reset is complete. As far as your claim that you lost everything, you spoke with one of our associates and stated that you had a complete Google backup of the phone. We regret that we could not recover data from this device, however, we cannot be held responsible for prior user behavior and its subsequent impact upon our recovery process. We would happy to be speak with you further on this matter should you desire.

Dropped off my HTC ONE M8 on 15 Oct. Phone was in complete working order. Looking to retrieve deleted family photos. Just received email from tech my phone is completely wiped! (set back to factory reset). Techfusion lost all my personnel and work contact info and years of family photos. DO NOT USE TECHFUSION. FIND ANOTHER DATA RECOVERY COMPANY! I WISH I NEVER WALKED INTO TECHFUSION OFFICE.
