Good customer service but our gender reveal was kinda ruined as the colored filling that was supposed to be INSIDE the cupcakes was smeared on the top of one. Kinda ruins a reveal when it's not hidden. Price was very high ($4.50 for a 1 to 2 bite cupcake). If I had known the size was so small I wouldn't have ordered from here. Cakes were nothing special, considering the price.

This place serves the driest cakes & pastries I have ever tried in my life. Its like eating dry sand with nothing to wash it down with. Staff are obviously not trained because if you place an order they do whatever they feel like making for you not what you request. The Manager is just as bad if not worse. 0/0 stars from me. This place is just awful.

This review isnt based on the quality of their products, rather the experience we just had. When we were pregnant with our first, we stopped into Gateaux straight from our docs office with the gender of our baby in an envelope and asked for two cupcakes with the color of the gender inside. The girl was so cute, sweet, and excited for us at the time that she made our day. Now, pregnant with our second, we just stopped back in straight from the doctor, envelope in hand, excited for the same experience. To our disappointment when we asked for two cupcakes, we were told, oh honey no, its Mothers Day weekend, thats impossible without an order. No congratulations, or thanks for coming back in after we explained why we were back. We left deflated and confused at the ask of two cupcakes from a bakery being so outrageous when they were so accommodating in the same situation prior. Bummed and disappointed, we just left, envelop still in hand.
