Went by reviews and was very disappointed!!! Crab she soup disappointingtuna tartare disappointing as wellentrees continue with disappointment I got grilled swordfish which was dry and flavorless told waitress and her response yah they need to make sure its cooked by overcooking??? Not even a concern from a manager?? Friend got roasted grouper served with rice just OKAY many other much superior restaurants in Charlestonwill not be coming back here!

Not sure what the fuss is about this place. Yes it was crowded on a Monday night. We had a reservation at 8.30 pm and were seated on time. The waiter was efficient and going through the motions. The place was small and crowded. The food was average. We were disappointed. We had eaten amazing fresh fish at Nico, Grace and Gritts So the food here was disappointing. The prices are high and there is no view. We were celebrating my birthday and there was no dessert or acknowledgement of it. Save yourself a trip. There are other places in Charleston which are.wy better.

We had an excellent experience at Hank's. The food was all superb (lobster, shrimp/grits, and appetizers). Our server was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and wine pairing. The atmosphere was nice. The food was surprisingly fast for us too.

Food Was just Par,, however We've only been here 3 times. Hopefully it will get better. My seafood dish was just ok, nothing Spectacular about. We don't know what the sauce was they used for the wife's fish dish. She was WTH is this it tasted really weird. And she's a 5 star chef. We will give Hanks 1 more try maybe the forth time is the charm
