This customer unfortunately is not posting a truthful recounting of events. We informed this customer over 48 hours in advance of his move that we couldn't accommodate his exact arrival time due to the recent blizzard and servicing the re-scheduling needs of impacted clients. We offered numerous alternative moving times to which the customer declined. We immediately refunded the customer's deposit and wished them well with their move.

I booked a mover with them to move my 1 bed apartment. However, they ask me to reschedule my booking at final hours. Since, I need to move on the same scheduled day, I was forced to cancel this mover and look for others. They are very unprofessional. Although they are slightly cheaper than other movers ($5 per hour), I strongly recommend to avoid this mover, these might give you trouble at the final hours. @edit to reply to the owner after his response: I am not sure what is truthful for him, however the owner accepted that he asked me to reschedule the service and finally canceled my booking as I cant fit his reschedule options. Just to make sure he gave me options to reschedule for other days than my booked days and he stated the reason is he wants to manage the past canceled bookings. I took off from my work and made all the arrangements for the move 15 days ahead (asked me to reschedule approx. 45 hours prior my move) and booked the mover accordingly. I dont know, how the owner can be professional if he wants to disrupt majority of the future bookings to accommodate the past canceled bookings. Hence, my concern is this business is not trustworthy. He canceled my bookings to accommodate others, hence you might be the next victim.

BEWARE! Movers arrived at 9:30 am -- our move time was 10 am--and called yelling that if we didn't open the door they would leave. Upon entry, no hellos, just glares. Turns out they overbooked and had a big move right after ours. Poor planning on their part. They do not wrap any of our furniture, so it arrived at our new home dirty, and put our bedframe together so hastily, when we got in to go to sleep, the frame broke and we fell to the floor. Unacceptable.

The guys were great! They were quick, efficient and friendly. The fees were transparent. I would use Low Cost Movers again if a I need movers and would highly recommend their services! Austin was also very helpful in arranging everything.

I've used LCM for multiple moves and couldn't be happier with the experience. In particular, the last move of mine was not easy. The logistics of the home I was moving out of are not a mover's dream. Three stories, tons of heavy item furniture pieces, and most significantly, the distance from my townhome to the closest available spot for the moving truck was vast. Likely, a 60 or 70 yard distance. So imagine this haul countless times over a three hour span. It was true labor. And the whole time, movers Chris and Jeff were exceptionally professional. They knew which pieces to move first, how to navigate their extraction, and best of all, they were honest and upfront from the minute they entered my townhome. My estimate was NOT accurate. That was my fault. I didn't do a good job of setting a realistic expectation of the amount of items I had. At the very beginning, they told me they wouldn't be able to fit everything on their truck and that a job like mine was best with three movers. I didn't make their job easier. Nonetheless, they worked tirelessly to load the truck and only a few smaller items couldn't be loaded. It was the best moving experience I've ever had. I am a Realtor and regularly send my clients to Low Cost Movers. And it's true, their prices are great. But there's nothing low cost at all about the service.

As a team they were efficient, professional and quite fast to move everything. They were an hour late to arrive but compensated with another mover to help get everything done faster.
