Unfortunately with most companies that ship products including some that we work with that offer the best product options, the communication has gone downhill since covid. It makes it hard for our team to relay updates to the customers sometimes because we are in the dark as well. We were very happy with the final appearance of the fireplace. It is a spectacular addition to our home. Our problem with the whole process was a lack of communication on the part of Chimney Guy. This caused us a lot of stress. Because there were may times that we were in the dark about the status of the project.
I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. As I explained when we corresponded by email, we do our best to accommodate our customers requests, however, when I asked you if you wanted to be present for the install of your new cap, you declined and did not request we leave the cap and we do not leave trash in a customers yard for them to clean up. I also explained that the cap was not reusable because the cap is made to fit the specific chimney. We get rid of all trash at the end of the day. Im sorry that you are unhappy, but there is no way we could have known that you wanted to keep your old/damaged cap because you did not communicate that to us. We hope that you will reconsider your one star review. Please contact our office if there is anything we can do for you.

He took the old chimney cap and said it was sold for scrap the same day with out our permission. It was reusable. I had planned to take to our house in the country. He should have thought if it had value to him as scrap he claims, it may have value to the home owner. That was unprofessional.
Adam was very professional, friendly and courteous. He wore his mask. He took the time to answer all my questions. Made sure our fireplace was working good. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
