My wife and I went to this dealership to place an order for an X5. After specifying the options out for the vehicle, they added a $10k markup. I understand the limitations of the supply chain, however this was not disclosed they would do this while we went thorough the whole exercise to specify the vehicle and get a quote. They are not forthright and are taking advantage of the current climate. We took a 25 minute drive to BMW of Fairfax and they were able to place our order at MSRP with no mark up. I would recommend that this dealership be avoided and instead to cross the Potomac to Fairfax to place your vehicle purchase at a fair and honest price.

People are nice here. I've had a chronic problem with my convertible top and each time I have it fixed, something else goes wrong resulting in the same exact issue. The top doesn't close completely. I'm crossing my fingers this time it continues to work till I trade it in on something more reliable. Another little quirk at this place is a breakdown of internal communications. Several times I've been told my car would be waiting for me at a specified time when I paid online before catching an uber. This time moreso than previous times, they were late. 30 minutes late. Apparently they miss-logged the location of the car. The key was waiting for me but of course one needs the key to bring the car down. Since there was another car where mine was logged in to, the key didn't work. This required several trips back and forth to figure that out and eventually it was located. Clearly, I was frustrated. I tried the top before I left and it requires a 2 step process to open and secure but only one, which I think both should, to close and secure. There has never been a clear statement as to why this is happening other than it was another dealership not knowing what they were doing. The car has less than 50,000 miles on it. I've about given up on it and want to be rid of the headache. However when it's working right, it's a great driving experience. Back again on 5/31/2022 This place continues to have a good vibe but small details are often overlooked. Last time I had service, my car was misplaced somewhere on the lot and it took some time to find it. The work done was great but getting my car back was a small detail overlooked. I came in this time for an oil change and a check up before an upcoming trip. Again the work done was exceptional. However I had a key fob that wasn't opening or locking the car so I asked the service advisor about it. When I picked up the car it looked great because they had cleaned it up nicely. The detail overlooked was the key fob. It's battery had apparently been changed but no one checked to see if it worked. The same problem persists. It will start the car but still fails to open or lock the car. Of course I was still charged a n d no explanation has been provided.

i am writing to express my extreme displeasure with the service i received today. i had a 9am appointment. i arrived 5 mins early. i was told to wait in the waiting room until my CA came by. at 9:45am, no one had come by, so i inquired. they said just a few more minutes while he finishes up with a customer. 15 mins later, still no one. i asked for my keys and indicated i would take my business to bmw of silver spring or passport bmw. to top it off, they left my vehicle running the entire hour in the service lane. take your business elsewhere!
