I just finished my DV case. First of all, I want to say thanks to Navid. He genuinely cared my case and did it like his own, plus his experiences and his working attitude, all of those let me saw hope during the lowest point in my life. He is a responsible attorney who cares about his clients. First time I met him was in a rush because unexpected things happened to me. Even though I didnt have enough time during the first meeting, he still answered all my questions very well, and he was very patient. He explained everything that I was confused about from a professional perspective, let me know when I should do what. He also told me that DV cases (as well as divorce cases) are long fights; sometimes, I have to hang tight especially as a woman. The free consultation helped me a lot and saw Navid as a dependable attorney. After that I decided to hire him, then I met his team. They work very efficiently for me, it felt like some family members were helping me to get what I deserve in the court. Also, their bill is very clear, like who spent how much time on what kind of work. Navid is hugely patient, my first language isnt English, so our conversations sometimes got confusing or he misunderstood my point, but he was willing to clarify that every single time, just to made sure that he didnt miss anything. During my DV case, sometimes I wanted to solve problems emotionally, but he would explain the pros and cons to encourage me to make the best choice for myself. Once again, he is a responsible attorney who solves problems from his clients perspective, hes willing to achieve his clients goal in every legal way he can.

Horrible practice! I was only with Moshtael for a little over a year and had 3 attorneys that I can remember there was so much turn over that I lost track of who was really handling my case. Alex, Bill, Navid... went to court physically 3xs and heard the courts say my attorneys failed to provide my 2016 taxes which they failed to inform me and other items which I was not aware of by my attorneys. When hiring them I laid out a list of items like normal and each time they stood up there my ex's attorney slammed them. I literally had to raise my hand because my attorney didn't ask for anything he sat outside the court room and told me he would request. Garnishment was my biggest request which stated if he doesn't pay me I can't afford you. Bill still didn't ask for garnishment after leaving the court room he said oh you meant child care not child support Instead Bill just agreed to another court date which I can't help but think is a Moshtael's goal all along just collect as much money from clients as you can because Alex did the same. Then they stick another attorney on your case and charge for all the calls to get the new guy familiar with the case. I also called the office for their bar # and they refused to give it to me without telling them who I was. After court I finally called an attorney my friend has been telling me to go to and they said "Oooo Moshtael has a bad turn over rate." Be careful especially if money is a issue. I'd represent myself better but I work full time and feel like I'd drop the ball on sending the courts proper documents which was still the case with these guys. They don't even deserve one star. Their Bar # 242282 they refused to give this to me over the phone without telling them who I was its public record.
