Worked with the old manager KIKI who did a good job for us. I have had multiple problems with the printed shirts they made for us. The shirts graphics did not stay on the shirt well and became tattered after only a few washes. I have tried dealing with different people at the location to get problems resolved but nothing ever gets done, it only gets passed to the next person. They put me in their email list without my permission. I have tried to get removed from the email list with the automated opt out in the email but the program never takes my email off the list. I have called and spoken to two managers and two supervisors about being removed from the email list in the last couple of years. They all say they will have my email removed but they never do. Funny enough receiving the emails from Shop Strange that I no longer wanted is what reminded me to write this review about how bad dealing with their business is. I will never use them again since they do not fix problems or do what they say they will do. Do not give them your email!
This negative review is due to a Nefarious Craigslist ad soliciting negative reviews to our business listing. The reviewer was neither a client nor purchased anything from us. All documentation of the event has been properly tracked and recorded. This review will be reported to Google & potentially the authorities for false defamation.
I have been working with Shop Strange since 2016 and try to give loyalty to local businesses who take care of me. However, I have been struggling with the last several orders to get good customer service and a quality product. the first 2 orders were okay, although the response time of the sales rep was extremely slow and the ink color was wrong both times. I chalked this up to the company getting used to our needs. The third order actually went much smoother and they finally got the ink color right and really seemed to listen to what I wanted, however when I got the product it looked great but the sweatshirts were extremely over sized and this was not communicated to us. also half of the tshirts we ordered were not heat set and began to crack and bleed after 1-2 washings. I reached out to the company to see what they would do for me and they only offered me a small discount on a future order - I believe I was talking to Danny. He refused to make it right. I didn't deal with it more, but the company continued to send me deals so I finally responded and asked them to take me off their list because I had such a bad experience I would not use them again. Amy immediately reached out to me and asked how she could make it right. I was very reluctant to go through all that again, but I gave them another shot. I stressed to her the importance of the ink color and they offered to rerun the defective shirts. I gave her back the defective shirts and told her that the colors were right but I could not use them because they were cracking and bleeding. They sent me a proof and I could not tell on the screen whether the ink was correct so I asked her to double check. she assured me via email that it was the same ink colors as our last order so I approved the proof. When we got the shirts, the ink color was from the time before and was wrong again. I let her know that immediately and she and upper management refused to admit they made a mistake, insisting that I approved the color. They also changed the shirt color and I didn't catch that (I can own that mistake as I didn't read the revised quote closely enough to catch the error) but I was very specific about the ink color and even gave her examples of what I wanted. I understand mistakes but what a company does about it to make things right tells me whether I want to do business with them again. I am very dissatisfied with how shop strange handles or rather doesn't handle their mistakes. I tried to give them another chance but to this day have not received satisfactory resolution to my concerns. I have no idea how they can have so many positive reviews when I have had bad experiences with them. so disappointed.
