Hi Ms Seabrook, I completed a free visual inspection for you as you requested. The free service does not include written reports as I mentioned to you at the time. I never have given you a bill for anything as we have not completed any work for you. There is no such thing as "everyday mold" on furniture or walls and ceilings. Where we live, you can never close up a house and not run the ac. It's too humid here and things grow. Please get a third opinion, I suggest using a certified mold remediation company/inspector for your next visit.

I was told that I had a mold issue that did not exist. I was given a bill estimate/proposal of 3182 dollars to have the non-existent mold issue remediated. I asked for the findings in writing and offered to pay for the information and Mario never responded to me which seemed strange. If you have not done more than a visual inspection, how can you recommend a service such as a whole house mold remediation and a chlorine dioxide treatment and send me a bill proposal? I had several other licensed and certified companies with great ratings from the BBB come out for a second opinion and found out I did not need the service Mario suggested...that there was just mold that is normally in the air on furniture from the house being closed up. All I needed to do was clean the furniture. This man is unethical and can not be trusted. I will also make a complaint to the BBB. Of course in his response he will try to cover himself but I am just warning others to be careful.

Hello Cathy, we don't charge anything for inspections. We operate in the Charleston area. The only time we ever charge anything is if it is out of our service area more than 30 miles away. If you are in the Charleston area and was quoted for a fee it was a mistake. What part of town are you in?

I needed to have my dryer vent cleaned and decided to have Advantaclean come because they had such good reviews from other clients. I was not disappointed in any way. Jason and Mario came on time, very polite and professional they answered all of my questions regarding the cause of my problem and then went right to work cleaning the vent. They cleaned up and before I knew it they were finished. I highly recommend this company.

Good morning. Thanks for your post. While several other AdvantaClean locations throughout the country complete stand-alone dryer vent cleaning services, my location here in the Lowcountry does not. We stopped doing that for residential customers more than a year ago. We do offer it while doing air duct cleaning services since we are already at a customers home and many like it as an add-on service. I'll work with our website team to be sure we clarify what is on our direct site.

Googled dryer vent cleaning and AdvantaClean was the first to pop up. Went to the website and they had a whole section devoted to dryer vent cleanings. Requested an appointment/quote online. Got a call pretty quickly and was quickly told they don't clean dryer vents unless you pay another $719.00 to also clean your HVAC duct work. No where on their website did I see you had to combine these two services. Hmmm.
