From experience and reading the last years reviews I would go to to the San Mateo Verizon store only if one absolutely has to. We ended using the Redwood City store to upgrade the next day. The manager , Adan, was so rude to me I am actually afraid to go to the San Mateo store on Bridgepoint Parkway. I am elderly and in my whole life have not been treated the way he treated me. He first upset me with a nasty stare saying he would only talk with my husband. After that he refused to look at me or answer any questions. My husband went to the car and I stayed trying to find out the answer to the question we came in for to no avail, and finally just his name for a complaint. As I was leaving he, Adan, said out the door he was cancelling my appointment. I had no appointment. My husband had made an appointment. And the next morning, sure enough, my husband received an email his appointment had been cancelled. The appointment was to help him transfer his info to his new upgraded phone. Elderly abuse and female discrimination comes to mind.
The associate, Trent, has been a great help, he helped me lower my bills, helped set me up with the new phone and watch. You need 5 more Trent's at every store and business would never stop. Thank you again Trent, you've helped Verizon keep another customer.
