Very easy to work with and they are all nice guys, I am very happy with my car but there were things that should have been stated from them. First of all, the air filter they had in this car was absolutely crumbled up and kept causing the car to bog down/ stall out in the middle of driving. Secondly, I was told it was a clean title vehicle and no accident history, but that was false. After finding the Japanese auction sheet for this vehicle it shows and states that the front of the car has received damage and needed replacements as well. The rear tie rods were so damaged and loose that the suspension freaks out with every slight bump. Major power steering leak, mild coolant and oil leak. Power Transistor Unit failed 3-4 months after purchase (about 150-200 miles of driving maximum). Ignition coils and spark plugs were so beat down,brittle, covered in oil, etc. and led to the car commonly misfiring. Once again, I am happy with the car but make sure you inspect every aspect of the car and find the auction sheets to see the history for yourself. My mistake on not knowing what to look for, but lack of knowledge or hiding truth by the dealers.
I probably wouldnt recommend this place to a friend. Bought a car in August as is. The owner mentioned he has not looked throughly at the car but is willing to sell it a little under market value. I dont know why I trusted him at all. I think I was too excited . My husband looked at the car, under the car, etc. there was very minimal rust and very clean. After the car arrived we quickly found out there were many big problems with the car that seller mustve known because they were concealed/cleaned. Fast forward to April 2022, the car has not been driven more than 5miles, is still being fixed, weve ordered $1000s worth of parts so far. This car definitely did not sell a little under market value when you add all the parts. So sad to see it every morning parked in the same exact spot it arrived 8 months ago. I definitely blame myself for thinking the seller was honest. I knew better.

Hi Jerry, We understand the frustration that this may cause and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. As with all of our vehicles, this Delica was thoroughly inspected by our technicians before you arrived at our dealership. Unfortunately, the rectification that was requested was the cost to replace and rebuild a part that we did not supply, nor was caused by improper maintenance. This was not disclosed to us as damaged until 4 months post sale, and a 600+ mile drive. While we do think its unfair to summarize our 30 minute conversation with, "sorry you're having issues", we do genuinely care about our customers and always try our best to provide the best experience possible, before and after the sale. When buying a classic vehicle, unforeseen issues can occur which is why we are unable to warranty 4 months post sale. We are glad that you love the Delica and wish only the best for the future. While I love the Delica I purchased from JDM Sport Classics, the truth is, in the my 4 months of ownership, it's only been roadworthy for a few weeks. It started with the gear shift linkage coming loose on my trip home. Followed by replacing the dry rotted tires, burnt out headlights, and now the entire transfer case is waiting replacement. I know it's always "buyer beware" when buying a used car. And I know the Delica is 30 years old. But when I read on your website: "When it comes to Japanese Domestic Market imports, its vital that you trust the source. Thats why, at JDM Sport Classics, we only deal in the best of the best." And all this happens, I can't help but feel that they let me down and took advantage of me. I contacted them and offered an opportunity to rectify the issues, their response was "sorry you're having issues." Can't recommend them to others.
