Pretty quick and smooth takeout. But need more people taking orders. Multiple workers just ignoring the line , sipping ice coffee, or going back and forth doing nothing. Could be fast if they took orders

Loved this place! The atmosphere was so welcoming, you don't mind waiting in line knowing what you will be getting. Prices are great, and the baked goods are amazing and unique! Worth the stop.

I remember Portos Bakery before it got commercialized. The quality has gone down and prices up. They don't make cakes you can buy for your kids party like you used to. You have to order 90 days in advance and they are fancy tiered cakes. Lines are too long. I don't believe they make their goods in-house anymore. It's lost that local go to bakery appeal it had. I rather find a neighborhood bakery instead. Downey still has Tropicana Bakery, better quality. Portos yet another tourist trap.
