I really want to give them 4 even 5 stars because they are all very nice and Ive been sugared by Jarratt before and that was a wonderful experience. However, my spray tan was terrible. Getting the actual tan was normal no problems, its the actual tan itself. I chose this place because of all the good spray tan reviews so Im a little annoyed at how the spray tan turned out. I did everything youre supposed to do before getting a spray tan and carefully followed aftercare instructions but after showering 24 hours later my skin was two different colors. You can see the spray tan color and my normal skin color in patches all over me. Certain parts of me are my skin tone and others are the spray tan which is light in some places and dark in others. I look like I have about 4 different skin tones. My arms are orange and my legs are a Sunkissed pale. Im embarrassed to look like this but what can you do? My spray tan was also washed off my face after only washing it with water 24 hours later. Im not trying to leave a nasty review I just want to be honest and share my experience. I believe that they have done really nice spray tans but mine is not one of those. maybe it depends on who does yours Im not sure but this was my experience. I definitely recommend going there for sugaring but I probably wont go again for a spray tan.
I went to get a spray tan for a wedding. Told them i wanted to be on the more natural side. The staff was nice and understanding but I didnt like the actual tan. First, I got sprayed and went home over an hour after being sprayed, I take a peep and its soooo blotchy; I immediately called - this isnt my first spray so I know how it is supposed to be. They tell me to send pics. They call and tell me to shower and come back and they will respraymust have been too wet when you put your clothes back on. So I drive from Prairieville and get a second spray. They air dry me with the air hose real well. I get dressed and go home. The actual tan had way too much bronzer or something. It was too dark. The second spray was done by a different lady and she asked if i was going to the beach. I was like no, i am in a wedding so this cant be too dark; she said it would look good. By day two, I was nervous because I thought i looked literally orange on my legs and arms. It was sticky the entire time. I could tell exactly where the tan was on my skin as it was fading by physically touching my skin (not just visually). It didnt feel nice and looks blotchy as it faded. I couldnt wait to scrub it off after the wedding. Again, Ive had MUCH better spray tans at other places. I was just disappointed by the tan itself (staff was professional and nice) just not a satisfied and wont be back.
Hey Angel! I hate to see a review like this. Unfortunately, an hour is not enough time to fill an appointment slot and a cancellation policy is standard practice in the industry. Our policy is actually incredibly lenient, as many places require 48hrs notice. We simply ask for 7pm the night before. And if you message or email us even after 7pm, we'll often take care of it for you! We do absolutely take emergencies into consideration, but you told my reception staff that you didn't want to sit in traffic, not that you had an emergency. So I'm thinking maybe there was a miscommunication here? In the event that you've never seen our cancellation policy or been informed, please let us know because we probably need to update/correct your contact info! Love this place I been going here for several months!! but they are not fair with their policy going on about rescheduling an appointment. I rescheduled my appointment now all of sudden the manager said my card would be charged half of the price but the issue is I rescheduled several times and never had that problem. I support this business every month. My appointment was at 2:30 and I rescheduled the appointment at 1:03. She said it isnt enough time but that is more than enough time to fill in that spot. This business should reconsider changing their policy because of emergencies.
