I had a positive first impression of the Promotional Partners team. Olivia spent time with us, sending ideas over and walking us through their showroom. My first hesitation came when she told us that they outsource everything. None of the work is done in-house, including digitizing the logo for embroidery. Not a huge deal, as many promotional products companies operate this way, but every company I've worked with previously over my 20 year career has stood behind the products they deliver, so we moved forward. We placed an order for several awards, proofed the files several times (finding mistakes on 2 of the proofs) and when they arrived (more than three weeks after we placed the order), the quality was not at all what we expected. The finish was chipped and the printed face was spotty. During the same time, Olivia was having the logo digitized. We were not at all happy with the first version. Many of the letters were not legible and, overall, the quality of the digitizing was poor. She said she'd have them run it again at a larger size and we were hoping it would look better. By this time, we received the awards we'd ordered and the second digitized logo came back looking much like the first- fuzzy and not very legible, so we let her know. Olivia's response was that this was an "award-winning supplier". They certainly weren't going to win any awards with the digitizing they did for us. At this point, we reached out to let her know we were generally unhappy and would need to get the awards done locally due to the delays. We cancelled the other items we'd ordered as well at that point because we hadn't been satisfied with anything we'd seen thus far. This is when Olivia, instead of offering any kind of apology, said we'd not only need to pay shipping and restocking fees (which we anticipated), but an additional digitizing fee they had incurred and not told us about up front. They had not told us there would be any fee because the first attempt was sub-par. Our new supplier did all three of our logos (in-house) for $40 total and they are STELLAR. I pushed back on the $322 for the three cancelled orders- asking that they at least drop the charge they didn't tell us about in advance, but was told "the charge stands" and just got the invoice today for the full amount. Inflexible, Unapologetic and Defensive would be the best words I could use to describe our experience. We were clear about our expectations up front, weren't satisfied with anything we received and had neither the time nor the patience to have everything redone again.
