The following is all fact so any reply will be Bull. Car went in limp mode, diagnosed as DPF clean and sensor failure. 300 for both, first replacement sensor made no difference so another fitted. Then Im informed the car is good and has been test driven with no problems, car collected and job paid for. 50 feet down the road car no different, car returned, another sensor fitted. No different, must be an electrical problem, any apology, NO, any refund, NO. Now if the problem wasnt the sensor how did the test drive go without the fault. Oh wait that test drive convinced me to pay the 300. The DPF clean is around 80 to 100 and the sensor cost 30 (I saw the invoice). All this was over a period of 4 weeks and only progressed when I contacted them. Dirty Dirty business practice, should be ashamed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. UPDATE Fault repaired by reputable garage, used genuine Mercedes sensor and a proper DPF clean all for less than 300, I rest my case.

I booked my Golf GTE in to be looked at as there was a strange rattling noise coming from the car going over small pot holes and the like in the road. The team very quickly spotted the fault and booked me in to have the work done a few days later. Turns out the wrong brake pads were fitted by the previous owner. The work was completed very quickly and car was returned to me in a good amount of time too. I would happily recommend these to anyone and will definitely be back to have the Service and MOT done when it is due. Should I have anymore faults I will definitely be back to Mersey Tuning for help.

Took my VWT5 to Ian and Darren at Mersey Tuning due to a noise when decelerating in 1st 2nd and 3rd Gear (sounded terrible, I had been putting up with it for months). Issue diagnosed as gearbox noise within a few hours. Ian took the time to explain the issues and more importantly break the costs down clearly for me (obviously very important), so I knew what to expect prior to booking it back in for the job. Fantastic communication and advice from start to finish. They responded promptly to my email queries etc. I even received video clips demonstrating the gearbox noise when it had been stripped from the van and a video of the shiny new one going on (that was really appreciated, I dont think many other garages would go to that detail). Also impressed with the speed of the service I received at Mersey Tuning; they waste no time. Overall, a very happy customer as the van now drives completely different (nice and quiet, as it should be). Ian and Darren are also very professional and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Worth saying, I have taken my van here since circa 2015 (as Andys Vw), same service then, even better service now!!!! I Will definitely be returning in the future, see you for my timing belt replacement soon
Splashed out over 200 notes and they didn't fix the problem at hand. Frustrating to say the least and a waste of time and money. I was advised the car had been test driven and I even paid 90 for a live diagnostic. Clearly this couldn't have happened as the drive home after being told the car was good, overheating resumed and cooling fan whirling and engine light back on.
