We don't comment on people's likes and dislikes, but this reviewer is incorrect in stating that 'most plants were 8.50'. Our shrubs and ferns are all, as you would expect, around 7.50 to 15, but our herbaceous perennials, which make up 90% of our stock, are typically 3.50-6.50, with perhaps just 2-3% costing more than 7.50! As they say, should have gone to spec...!

In my opinion, I was disappointed in the gardens, for a 5.50 entrance fee, I expected more, it felt rundown, and I felt like it lacked a little something, I understand it's a natural surroundings, but for the cost of the entrance fee, it was quite wild with weeds within planted areas felt unfinished. The plants were expensive to buy for the size and quality of them, most plants were around 8.50 but we're small in size, considering I had paid 2.50 for a great fern at edgefield Nurseries the previous week, who's plants were much cheaper by comparison, and great quality. Difficult to walk round if you are unsteady on your feet. Good points it allowed dogs in, this is why we came to visit, quite nice seating areas outside for a cup of tea if the weather is nice. Probably won't return again.
I probably have not been in 15 years or more but my wife and I visited last week....What a wonderful place to spend some time chill out and enjoy nature and have a cuppa GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
