This person walks in our shop mask pulled down to her neck. We reminded her repeatly to put her mask on properly. This is a stage 4 lockdown, we have 500+ covid case daily and more than half are in the community. She completely ignores public health rules and coughing without covering her mouth. She is so angry that we refuse to get close to her and had to come to Leave a nasty comment on google and make another account just to leave another nasty review. She is not our customer. Just a random racist horrible person that doesn't like asians running business in Malvern. She left a nasty comment on another asian run business who had 5-4 stars, calls them not speak english well and smells. We have her whole behavior on CCTV and name. We are handing them to the police for further actions. We are friendly to everyone that comes to our store. But if you put our health at risk, we have the right to refuse service to you. Smile? We are all wearing masks, how can you tell we are not smiling at every customer? Well you don't wear them and you are not smiling at all.

Wow... I really didnt expect a review like this, especially I did everything youve asked for your cake. You have called me 4times, emailed 14times in the last few days trying to change the design, and when we informed you that there wasnt enough time for this you said just go back to the original design which I sent you an image of a plain red velvet cake, which I did EXACTLY the same cake. The cake was definitely filled and covered with cream cheese, we have always do it this way, maybe its not what you always had but this is how we do it, you can ask ANY of our regular customers, and its not going to be a dry cake. So Im not sure what are we been punished for here when we did nothing wrong??

While I can't comment on the decorative skills of this baker as I only ordered a plain red velvet design cake, I can comment on the baking skills. The cake was extremely dense and dry and I got buttercream filling and icing when I specifically requested for creamcheese. Extremely disappointing considering it was a birthday cake for someone special and that person couldn't take more than one bite of the cake.

Lucy and team did such a spectacular job with our son's first birthday cake - especially at such short notice. After providing some general direction, she told us to trust her with the design of the cake and that she wouldn't let us down. She certainly did deliver! The cake looked amazing, the price was very affordable and everyone that ate the cake said it was delicious (not a crumb was left). Thanks Lucy and the team for such a wonderful cake and we look forward to getting all our future cakes from you!

Hi Olivia, we are not sure what you are expecting from us. You left us less than 2 days for a custom order. We were more than happy to help you out given the circumstances that after a lockdown everyone is trying to get an order in the very last minuet. It is stress on us, but we want to help. Unfortunately another lockdown happend just next day. We emailed you straight away asking if you like to postpone or keep going with the order. You replied you like to keep going ahead, we were happy that at least someone is not postponing on us, but it followed by another email telling us to hold it until your notice. 8pm at night we are off work still wondering about your order, we can't wait anymore, I emailed you asking if you like to go ahead or not. You replied yes go ahead, so we planned it for the next morning to have them made for you for afternoon pickup. You kept emailing us in the morning to want us to call you to hold off the order on the very day you like to pick it up. Why do you think that is even possible? Step in our shoes, how stressful it is to make your order when you keep on changing your mind? They are cakes! They need time to bake, to cool to decorate! We told you over and over, we can't use the phone, we are operating machines that goes up to 200 degrees all the time. We can't have distractions. Our arms are full of burn marks from getting distracted while taking things out of the oven. How dare you come here and leave a bad review after we try that hard to make your daughter happy during the lockdown. We are business owners, we don't like to get pushed around. Edit: Seriously Olivia, the world doesnt revolve around you. I have not said anything in the email that is Rude. Simply telling you it is too late to change your order on the very same day it needs to be made and picked up. I made it clear in the email, I didnt want to call you because I dont want to get into an argument with you about putting an already made order on hold. Our operating hours is 11am-6pm that is the time we take calls. Any other time is out of business hour. You left this review obviously you see that right? Calling us 8am in the morning and sent us 3-4 emails trying to hold order is not going to work. We start at 7am baking all cupcakes for the day until 11am. We dont read emails, dont take calls. Why wont you understand that???? You would persistently send email to ask us to call you, ask questions like why are the cupcakes made when you are not at the shop to pickup the phone. You dont realise you are inflicting stress on other people? Stop abusing your power to leave a review to defame a business and think about what you have done. We dont have to take your order. But I feel your desperation when your email titled (hopeful), thinking some little girl might be disappointed when they dont have their rainbow and unicorn on their birthday. It has turn out to be the worse decisions I have ever made. No more last minute helps.

While I was appreciative of them accepting the order three days before the event the last minute lockdown advice threw plans into a spin. I tried several times to call first thing in the morning (they never answer their phone - don't bother trying to call) and email to change the date to two days later. The stream of abuse in the emails from the male owner was ridiculous and I had to ask him to stop emailing me (he refused to call me). At no point was I abusive and unreasonable in what I was asking. While I understand the external pressures of lockdowns puts everyone at boiling point, his response was not measured and unbelievably rude. The below response is indicative of my customer experience.
