We apologize for Mr. Vaughans experience and regret we couldnt purchase his policy. Abacus has an ethical and legal obligation to ensure all of its settlement transactions meet state anti-fraud regulations. As such, Abacus performs background checks on all potential clients. If we discover that there are inconsistencies with the information provided to Abacus by the seller, the transaction may be terminated. In Mr. Vaughans case and referenced by him, there was a 2012 incident that simply prevented us from purchasing his policy. We worked very closely with him to address the issue but ultimately were forced to withdraw the offer. Mr. Vaughan did not incur any expenses and we even reimbursed him for his notary fees. We will also send him a copy of his contracts. We wish him the very best.

STAY AWAY, most of the reviews are from employees. If you want to waste you time this is the company. The worst in the industry,! UPDATED: 1/9/2019 1:57 EDT Is this a company you want to do business with? Within and hour of posting a review Shane responded with text and email. This is the result of Shane refusing to provide a copy of the contract (after a month of wasting my time) that I signed giving them access to medical records and Insurance policy details that included various "Power of Attorney". I should have made copies but who would have thought after repeated promises of release of funds that I needed. It is standard practice to provide a customer with copies not claiming proprietary rights. Finally the incident cited by Shane occured in 2012 and should have gone to trial. Half was dismissed and other half should have been but health was more important. UPDATED: 1/10/2019 3:29 In reading the response from Shane the shady settlement benefit VP one can see how detached he is from reality. Read the email/voice maiI transcripts to see just how dishonest he is. I have the intake form and all communications from Renee Fulsom and excuses continue . Failing to release contracts is of great concern, after all there are "POA" and a host of other personal documents and yet I am not entitled. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this company .... UPDATED: 1/10/2019 7:02 PM How did you work closely on this issue? Please tell everyone that in the end I requested the notary fees as you used notarized documents as a way to delay. Yet you hide behind compliance that in some universe I am not allowed to have copies of both contracts that gave you access to everything in my life. I guess will continue to lie, deflect and make excuses just like you did wasting over a month of my time. UPDATED 3/27/19: This scam destroyed my attempt at clinical trial.
