Hello Dylan! We appreciate the feedback always, and do whatever we can to try to help your experience! Our hours are posted as 11-7, so be sure to try stopping by during that time. Unfortunately, sometimes the disc resurfacer requires specific parts that we have to order and have to wait for those to arrive, especially on some pieces we requested recently. Im not quite sure what the issue could be with ringing up items, so Id love a little more input to help us understand what else we could be doing. Im sorry your experience wasnt what we want to present to you, and we can only hope to take feedback into consideration to help our customers with whatever they may need. We hope to do better!

Ive tried really hard to like this place because it is the only retro game store in town, but every time I go they are either not open, or cant clean disks, or cant ring up items! I dont think Ill be giving it another chance I think Im giving up on it.

Love gamers and always will! Buy all of y retro games here and never disappointed. The employees are the most friendly in ABQ and it's real easy to just talk to any of the guys behind the counter of they were your buddies. Love it here and I'll always come here for my games. Edit: Update as of 2/18/22 This place has gone downhill significantly. Can no longer trade in items without making an "appointment", stock hasn't been great, no worthwhile games or systems almost every time I go, and none of the old friendly staff remain. I now prefer to go to Noble games more, which is a sentence I never thought I'd say. Please gamers, get rid of the appointments, and stop hiring HS staff that doesn't even know what a NES is, thanks.

Great nostalgic feeling. Really the place to go to game if u don't have money to buy ur own console or PC. They have drinks too. Can't wait to go back.

Hey Alex! Thanks for letting us know that you had a difficult experience. We're running a little behind on repairs, and the one who quotes our repairs wasn't around during the time of your dropoff. Since repairs can range in price depending on a variety of different factors, we don't like to give quotes until we're certain we're able to provide a proper price for you. As such, we always provide a free diagnostic to make sure you aren't charged anything without your consent. From the phone call made, it sounds like you may have had a different quote from another business unrelated to us, and we have a different and specific set of prices for our own repairs as our tech handles them. That said, if you'd like us to get the controller back to you, we can either deliver or ship it back to you, free of charge, to help alleviate any stress from having to get up here again. Or, we can have our tech check it out when he's able, but please be advised that his schedule with other employment has limited his availability in our own store. Please let us know what you'd like us to do, and we'll get the controller back to you without you needing to expend any more time or finances. Nice place but 1 star for customer service and repairs. Not knowledgeable on what repairs can cost so for someone like me who has no vehicle because of hard times due to covid you waist a lot of time taking bus across town in hopes you can fix your product. After a week they tell me there's nothing they can do and nothing they can do to help me out with my product with no consideration for my time or my effort. Should have told me in the beginning that repairs cost more then the item so I don't waist time or money but they said they have absolutely no idea what it costs so at what point am I dealing with a professional? Learn what your repairs cost before you waist your time and effort taking anything cuz it's probably not worth the week of waiting.
