Hi Mr Singh, Im honestly sad to see this comment. Im so sorry that youve had this experience with us. It would have made more sense for you to speak to me about this since you know who I am so I could fix this issue for you immediately. Im not sure which product you were quoted for but all products have different prices and very often prices change with different offers that we have on daily as you know since you follow us on social media. A quote for a product today maybe be a different price another day. This should have been explained to you. My apologies that it wasnt. And 80 is our minimum charge to fit stairs regardless of the size. We charge for the years of experience and the final quality. Im glad you were able to find cheaper fitting else where and I hope its all done nicely for you. If you still like to speak to myself I would love to help resolve this issue for you. Im available at all times. You can just call the store introduce yourself and ask for me please. Thank you sir.

Dont usually like to down play a private business owner but who ever it is at this place needs to sort out the workers. After speaking to them over the phone asking for a product they gave the price of 8m2 when I went in to store I didnt say I had already been given a price and was quoted 16m2 thats double the price. He then tried charging me 80 to fit just a small stair case ( flooring shop on the same road only charge 35). Tony seems like a nice guy claiming to be (The Honest Flooring Company) but the guys in the shop are honestly misleading and overcharging a lot of people. just the same old regular flooring company using any small chance to over charge customers at any given opportunity.

Tony and Alex are both nice guys and what Tony is doing via social media advertising the shop/services is very clever. They have a good range of carpets, which are very competitively priced. We had the upstairs of our house (four bedrooms over two levels) carpeted. Unfortunately, weve had such a negative experience that I feel the need to leave this review. Generally, I would rather be supporting small and local businesses, especially at the moment. However, I have now had 6 months of stress, just trying to get the job finished to a decent standard. All the other reviews on here are very positive, so maybe we have been unlucky. We paid for the carpets in September and the one that we chose was repeatedly delayed coming into stock. This wasnt their fault and we ended up choosing a different carpet. This arrived within a week and a fitting date was found quickly. At first they did not want to lift our existing carpets, but then agreed to do so as part of the fitting. They arranged to fit all of the upstairs on the same day and asked, understandably, that the rooms were empty as possible. We have a standard amount of furniture in each room (bed, wardrobe etc) and removed as much as we could, moving everything else to the middle of the rooms. If the whole of the upstairs is being fitted, then there is obviously a limit to where furniture can be moved to. I took our children out of the house on the day of the fitting and came back to absolute chaos. Our newly painted walls were scuffed, there was significant damage to the skirting boards from the fitting, a photo frame with our sons newborn photos had been broken and in falling had damaged the woodwork and there had been no attempt to leave the rooms in any sort of fit state. They also hadnt finished the job and one bedroom wasnt completed. This was all blamed on there being too much furniture in the rooms and we were offered 10 compensation for the damage. It was so upsetting, but we had to persevere with getting the final room finished and the stair runner fitted (which was always going to be completed on a different day). It then took weeks to arrange the final fitting. I heard nothing from them and had to call every few days to chase. Eventually, the stair runner and final room were fitted in November. Again, we had vacated the house and came home to find that the carpet in the final bedroom had been fitted with a fault running the length of the room and the binding on the runner was not the correct one that we had chosen. They agreed to re-fit the bedroom carpet and having lost the will to live by this point, we are just living with the incorrect stair runner. It then took until February for them to come and re-fit the bedroom. Again, I had to call regularly to chase it up. The fitting date was changed, an hours notice of the fitters arriving turned into five minutes notice and best of all they wanted to charge us for having the faulty carpet lifted and re-fitted. The carpet that was finally fitted does not match well with the rest of the upstairs as the fleck is different. The reason weve been given for this is that as it is a wool carpet, each batch is different. All in all, a complete disaster - six months to get carpets that dont match, the wrong stair runner, damage to our house and huge hassle. I wish Id paid a bit more and gone with one of the bigger branded carpet shops. Wed have probably ended up with a similar carpet, but had a much more professional fitting and customer service process.
