Sad to see their response to opportunity to reflect on their own bias and fragility. If a business is unwilling to change and grow with their surroundings then I cannot support it. It was a cool place but the vibes from up top are just wrong.

If you go to the website and read the description of the connect tour or the compassion tour it does not imply in any way that you are going to be on the tour that they offer. We opted for the compassion tour, "ideal for ages 7 and older." Cuddle with all the residents, hear inspiring stories, learn to create a more compassionate and sustainable future. What you get is lines you would hear in a vegan documentary, about the horrors if the meat industry... which I actually agree with... but was not what I was looking for for me and my 9 year old daughter. We do talk about this stuff, but the binder with the pictures and all those details were not in the description. This is not a rated G tour. It's PG13. The content was informative. I do feel like it was a bait and switch. The snacks were great. I believe their should out a warning on the page. They should talk about the tour's graphic nature. I know that this trickery is to get the message to a bigger audience, I get it... but please let us make an informed decision about sharing this with our children. I would've probably still done the tour...but I would've had a conversation with my kid first. They send an email after you book. Even if you wanted to trick us into taking the tour, that would've been a great place to express the details of the tour.

I scheduled a private Compassion Tour as a birthday gift for my husband, and both of us absolutely loved our experience at the sanctuary. Our tour guide, Alexis, was so knowledgeable, kind and fun! We were so pleased to have been able to interact with so many of the beautiful residents and learn about their stories. Luvin Arms is absolutely amazing!! I love everything they do for all the animals, it's wonderful to see how well cared for they are. The facilities are so clean, and all the animals are happy.
