Completely took advantage of people trying to start their next chapter in retirement and are refusing to give back the $32,000 for the Ernest and upgrades, even though theyll no longer be getting the house. The house being built has been a disaster from upgrades that are no longer available after choosing them and paying for them. The roof is a mess with uneven shingles and is bowing, the island wall sticks out past the counter top, door frames have cracks in them, but were still painted and sealed, they forgot electrical after already finishing the drywall so that had to get cut up, the house was painted the wrong color, the floor plan was reversed, the whole process has been rushed and they have been trying to force us to move even though the house is far from ready. It seems a lot of corners have been cut during the construction process. Stay far far away cus they only care about getting your money and not building your perfect home for retirement!

Buyer beware. Bait and switch and clearly misrepresents what is available then will change offering to maximize their own profits. You have been warned. Better to go with reputable builders or perhaps shady realtors work for them which is a bad representation for Taylor.

Houses are advertised at $520k. I called and spoke to Jennifer at Taylor Morrison who assured me larger lots, corner lots and premium lots were available with an upcharge of $10-$20k. I questioned her twice regarding the $20k quote for premium lots since it seemed too low and it was going to be a long drive for me to see the models. When I arrived at the models, I was met by Larry, who was hanging out in the driveway of the models apparently waiting for customers to view their overpriced homes. I told Larry I had just spoken to Jennifer and was interested in viewing lots that backed up to open space or corner or premium lots. Larry said there WAS NONE, the only homes available were in the $720k price range, not the $520k advertised. These homes are built right on top of eachother, with TINY lots and virtually zero back yards. Larry could tell I was very annoyed I had just completely wasted hours driving over there based on the outright LIES Jennifer had told me, so he starts talking about his Porsche in the driveway of the model. Not impressed with the Porsche, with Larry, with lying Jennifer, or the sub-par, ridiculously over priced homes where you could open your window and literally touch your neighbor. Go elsewhere.
