Have shopped for many years at this store. Great quality and cute designs. Never had an issue until this time. I patiently waited to purchase my items while the cashier was waiting on another customer. He never told me he would be with me in a few minutes. After waiting about 10-12 min, I asked him nicely if I could pay for my items. He came to the register and I said I was sorry for interrupting. He responded by saying" they were buying more than 2 bars of soap". I was so startled I didn't know how to respond. I nicety said that I thought all sales were important. Later, after I left the store, when I had thought about his demeanor with me, I went back to discuss it with him. I did not raise my voice but told him I thought it was rude to talk with a customer like that. He said it was my opinion. I continued to ask him why he said that to me and he said he was calling security on me for harassing him. I was shocked and told him I would never shop there again and would tell all I knew to do the same. I also told him I though Hawaii was all about kindness and the aloha spirit. Very disappointed in his entire demeanor with me. Never an apology.
Love the t-shirts. The material is soft and the Hawaiian prints are awesome! The t-shirts are designed and printed in Hawaii - Support local! The lady in the shop was super nice and showed us tshirts so patiently! We ended up buying 8 t-shirts between two people.
I specifically looked for shirts designed in Maui and this local store was perfect. The shirts are soft, high quality, and comfortable with beautiful designs. The designs were much nicer than any I saw at other chain tourist stores. I love that there were a lot of v neck shirts in the women's sizing, which are more flattering for me. There are a lot of nice colours and sizes to choose from. My dad and I got two shirts for $40 and a free high quality sticker.
