Hi Laura, we are so sorry you had this experience. Our hope is that you feel better from our time together, not worse. Once service begins, our secondary entrance to the chapel closes off during the Pastors message, but our main entrance to the chapel was still open for finding a seat. Our greeter informed us that she had tried to talk to you after the encounter, make amends, and explain this to you, but you had walked off. We are sorry. No offense was intended.

My husband and I were coming from a somewhat painful, messy church experience when we moved back to Sac, but we knew we needed to get back into a faith community again. The people that make up Society are every bit of what we needed. It's a beautiful community, fIlled with every background you could imagine, asking the hard questions and learning more about Jesus. It's home.

When we first moved to Sacramento in 2016 we attended a different church but after awhile we found it hard to connect and just felt lost in the crowd. We attended Society one Sunday in 2019 and knew immediately it was our new home. The pastors have a heart for Sacramento and love Jesus. Everyone is genuine and real community is felt. And, major bonus, there is a coffee break between worship and the message!
