I've been going to Jimmy's for the past 5 years or so. Ever since they split the shop in two, the quality of service has gone downhill. The haircuts have gotten more expensive and also more meh. Not bad enough to go back and have it redone, but not great either. I think the last straws for me have been the last two visits. The first they rescheduled me last moment. Today, I had a cut booked during my lunch hour. 15 minutes came and went, so I asked what the eta was, to which the receptionist wasn't able to tell me and then asked if I wanted to reschedule for the next day. Some people have good experiences still, but I think I'm done trying here.
Lots of good experiences at Jimmys over the years but the last three have been terrible. We were grossly overcharged for kids cuts ($50 for one - a 20 minute service; $28, as expected, for the other - 15 minutes). Neither featured wash or dry, neither resulted in the actual styles requested. The stylist was cold, bordering on hostile. The prior two experiences were similar, though the stylists were at least kind. Lesson learned. Were done with Jimmys.
