I wish Google had an option to leave less than 1 star. Stay away from the barber named Eddy that works here. I went for a beard trim and told him I wanted my mustache thick and showed him a picture of a duck tail style beard. He cut my mustache thin like Dali's and cut into my beard at a steep angle and took almost all of it off the sides. I had been growing my beard for over 3 months. When I asked him why he did that he got all defensive and told me to cut my own beard and added "you should have said you wanted a trim". Which I did say right at the beginning. He was more interested in hollering at women walking outside his shop then paying attention to his customer. Needless to say I walked out and swore never to return. The guy is clearly a novice even though he claims to have "9 years of experience". Can't believe 3 months of growth was butchered in 30 seconds!

I really wanted to like this place but was met with an over 20 min delay in my original appt time for a basic haircut. As the cut progressed, he asked to see a picture of how Id like my hair. I showed him how I wanted it and towards the latter part of the cut it was already too late because he completely missed the picture then proceeds to say that next time, I needed to show him a picture of howd I like my hair as it is very helpful for barbers. To add insult to injury, halfway through the already late and inaccurate cut, he starts to receive and make phone calls as he continues to stray away from our initial discussion. Unfortunately the lack of professionalism and inability to acknowledge any mistake on his part re the late appt and inacurrate cut makes it very difficult for me to recommend Pure Upscales services.

I've gotten a cut from Coop twice now. He has done a great job both times. Prices are competitive with other barbers in the area and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have comfy couches, tv to watch while you wait and beverages to sip on as well. Overall a positive experience and I will continue to get my haircut here

Their website claims to offer women's cuts, but this is misleading. They do not have anyone working here anymore that offers this service. They agreed to attempt to cut my hair. It didn't go well, so they gave me a refund. Nice dudes, but DON'T GO HERE FOR LONG HAIR!
