Tyler, we're sorry to hear about your experience. In the ever-changing climate with the pandemic sometimes we are forced to make decisions that are less than optimal for our customers. We take these matters very seriously and hope they understand as we follow the proper protocols. We always take these opportunities to learn and improve our service but are disappointed to receive a one star review regarding this situation. The day of your reservation we made sure to call and leave messages to every person that made a reservation. We always encourage our guests to leave a phone number for this reason and after further review you did not provide a phone number so we were unable to contact you. Again we apologize for the inconvenience and apologize for any miscommunication on your call, we don't understand how you were told you had no reservation when we have your reservation information except no phone number.

Made a reservation and confirmed the reservation with them day of. Showed up with my party and was told they were closed due to Covid. Totally understandable given the current climate but...how could nobody think to call? What's worse is when I called them, I was told we didn't have a reservation (no apology!) There was another person outside who also had a reservation but was never called. They really dropped the ball on this one - we won't be coming back. EDIT: this is a response to the owner who replied below. I'm not leaving the review for your cancellation of our reservation - like I said in my original review, I understand that this happens. I've had other restaurants cancel my reservation and call me and I was fine with that. What bothers me is that the first person we spoke with said that there was no reservation on file, and now you're telling me that there *was* a reservation on file, but there was no phone number? I've worked in some pretty high profile restaurants in NYC as a front of house manager and I know that taking a reservation without a phone number is pretty much impossible. Many POS systems don't even let you do it. So, either... a) you somehow erased, lost track of, or incorrectly recorded the phone number given to you, or b) you are lying, again, to save face. Either of these possibilities reflects poorly on your business. My large party of 6 and I drove a good distance in the rain assuming we had a reservation (which was confirmed when we called your restaurant to confirm a couple hours earlier.) We had family visiting from out of town. We had multiple reservations cancelled over the past week and that was fine...because they called. You didn't.

Absolutely disgusting minuscule portions of food and disturbingly unpleasant atmosphere. Horrible service as well. Our first red flag was a valet personnel for the restaurant trying to fight a gentleman by the front entrance in a cursing shouting match. This completed an awful visit to a new upscale restaurant.

Wow! What a phenomenal experience. The ambience, the acoustics, the food, AND the service! How can you beat that? You cant. Claire was such a friendly waitress and she took charge of our menu and created the best palette of flavors we could ask for. Our other waiter Daniel was so much fun to talk to and gave us some great places to check out while were in LA! Chef Oscar was a warm and welcoming master of of his craft. We got to talk to him for a few moments and not only was he funny he talked us through the different dishes that he loves the most. And Brandi! What an incredible Bartender. We got to chat with her for a brief moment as were heading out and she is such a sweetheart, and it doesnt stop there- her drinks were immaculate and tied the meal together. Congratulations Manny on opening a restaurant as amazing as yours. Im glad I was able to experience it while visiting.

Mary, we're sorry to see a one star review. We have been diligent on following the covid protocols by the city and were forced to make the difficult decision to close during the holidays due to the uptick in cases. Everyone with reservations that provided a phone number and email was advised so we hope that your plans weren't negatively impacted.
