Arrived at 11:30am, nobody answered the phone or the door, just looked out the window. We came a long way it was very disappointing. We had questions about potentially adopting a bird or voulenteering in some way

We cannot support 300 pigeons on our own us pay for veterinarian care for the once sick as yours, that was explained to you plus additional advice was given to you plus referrals , we simply can't survive if we continue paying for veterinarian bills for sick pigeons, and on top you expected us to pick her up and pay our drivers from our own pockets, very sorry but we simply can run an organization with empty pockets. We provide outstanding care to over 300 permanent residents herewith the help of the public, we simply can't afford to accept all sick birds

I called because I had an injured pigeon. I am a disabled senior in a wheelchair. The lady would not rescue the pigeon because I didn't have $50 to give her. I told her. I had $10 and her answer to that was that wouldn't feed it for a week. I'm so upset. I still have the pigeon because he won't fly and I will not put him outside to be killed by the cats. This "rescue" should change their name to you gotta love money. No help, really sad. I would not give them even 1 star if I could. I was NOT given referrals. And yes the pigeon I found was injured and can't fly so of course I needed to take him to a rescue. I wouldn't bring you or ask you to take in a healthy bird. You were very cold.

Beyond rude woman answered the phone. So unprofessional. Such an attitude. Oh, 30 minutes after posting this review, she feels it's ok to text me on my personal number giving me attitude AGAIN because I posted this review. How unprofessional. I called asking for a number of someone who can help me help a bird in my yard. She just kept repeating the same thing. She refused to help the poor bird.
