This review isnt completely accurate. Yes, we are experiencing materials shortages and unfortunately had to delay this project. We did, however, show up yesterday as planned and rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. Upon inspection of the job, our installer realized he didnt have the correct tools on the van to do the carpentry to replace a few pieces of rotted wood before we installed the gutter. So our installer sent an email to our office to reschedule. This morning the customer called in at approximately 7:45 and then again around 9:30 before we had an opportunity to reach out. He then posted this review. As a small business, we are doing our best to communicate quickly when issues arise. We are dealing with unprecedented supply chain issues and shortages that are creating a lot of additional work, so we may be a bit slower to respond than normal. We reached out to the customer today both by phone and email to ask for a little patience as we rescheduled his project, and he demanded a firm date by the end of the day. His response was disrespectful and rude. Due to his demanding tone we decided to refund his payment in full (which he voluntarily paid before the project started as we only request 50% down payment). When we make a mistake we will own up to it. In this case, we dont think we did, and were about to communicate to the customer that we needed to reschedule, so dont think this is a fair review.

In short ... took payment. Moved the install once due to lack of materials, which is totally understandable. Then, no called/no showed and disappeared. Impossible to get a phone call back or a decision maker on the phone. Now, equally difficult to get action on a full refund. 100% unprofessional. DO NOT USE.

Highly disappointed in Gutter Tex's gutter cleaning service. I would have passed on their service had I known that cleaning the gutters would result in the windows, patio, deck and counter tops being covered in everything that was in the gutters. I just spent the previous weekend power washing the front and back patios, decks and windows to remove the heavy pollen and dirt. I admit they were fairly quick. They showed up, used a leaf blower and left. The one star is because they do have a system set up to on board new customers, which is nice, but quality of work, including clean up, matters. The idea is not to trade 3 hours of work for 3 hours of work. (P.S. The last photo is to compare a clean pool deck with a pool deck now covered in the all grit from the roof shingles that was sitting in the gutters.)

Had a gutter replace by their team a week ago in Austin -- Gutter Tex team not only did a great job in installation, but was extremely helpful + honest in getting me the right product done for the job. They did everything down to matching the color of my house with the install, and did it in a time when other companies had countless delays due to "covid supply chain issues". Will use them in the future and am actively recommending to friends who are fellow homeowners
Had some strange appointment time shifting at time of confirmation (day before appointment). Initially, guttertex rep stated they would be arriving an hour early without asking if that would work. We told them we had them down for 1-2 Based on routes, we were going to arrive early, does that not work for you. Probably should have led with that! We still agreed as long as they gave us some notice on the day of since we dont live on property. They said, no one needs to be present. We said we wanted to be. Guttertex then said, can we then plan to meet 7:45-8:00am then! *It should be assumed homeowner would be on property unless they state otherwise* Interaction was disappointing and I will look for more personalized gutter company. Felt like I was texting with a rude scheduling robot, though unfortunately, I think a rep was on the other end.
