Thank you for your review, Pamela. Most garments are between 22" deep and 24" deep. Our vertical panels are typically 14" deep and we set our rods back 1.5" from the front of the vertical panel so that a 24" deep garments will hang without touching the wall behind it. Of course, pants and skirts are not as deep as shirts, jackets, blazers, and coats. I see that a service request came through today for us to adjust the rods in your closet at no cost to you so that the clothes would hang closer to the back wall. I'm sorry that you did not give us the opportunity to adjust your closet. Update: We reached out an spoke with the client's partner who informed us she did not want her rods moved back. The following day, he called back and asked us to contact her again because she did want them moved. When we called to schedule, we were informed that our service was no longer needed. I am deeply sorry that you were unhappy and we tried our best to accommodate you. If you need anything in the future, please let us know.

The rods are installed too close to the edge (less than 1.5 inches) which leaves a 4 inch gap between the hanger and the wall. With an entire side of the clothes sticking out into the closet past the unit, it doesn't look at all custom. It looks cheap. In addition, I would not choose white again since it makes the two lines of holes running vertically on every partition jump out at you. I think they would be less noticeable on a dark color. Update: Artisan didn't contact me as they said they would to reposition the rods. I assume it was because I did not respond to their request to remove my Google review. It's funny how the installer gave a nice speech when he was done about having a lifetime warranty, and if there was anything I was unhappy with, just call. Apparently the only way you get a lifetime warranty with Artisan is if you die while it's being installed. So after waiting more than two weeks, I hired another closet company to do it. It looks much better. The other company also told me about fastcap adhesive covers. Putting these over the holes gives it a much cleaner, more finished look. Without them the closet looks like the inside of my kitchen cabinets. Photo shows the fastcaps

Thank you so much for your review. Unfortunately, a 2-month lead time is not long at this time in our industry as most closet companies are running on a 10-14 week lead time. I am uncertain about the part that was missing from your job but know that our customer service did contact you right away and get you scheduled for completion. Per your contract, the balance is charged when the project is complete. Yes, we should have had better follow up on your project after the initial delay with more information for you on what happened. I'm glad to hear that your project is complete. Expensive cabinets with a 2 month lead time for a small project. Installer came out to complete the project and was missing the largest piece of the cabinets. The customer service from the office was extremely poor and no discount for the inconvenience or delay was given. When the installer came back out close to an additional 2 weeks later and completed the build, he said that the office would call me to collect final payment and make sure I was happy with everything. That did not happen and was was charged. After the initial delay, I would expect the office to call and make sure the install went smoothly and I was happy with the completed project. Should have used a different company for half the cost. Would not use again.

Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER OF ARTISAN CUSTOM CLOSETS. I hired Island Chef Food Truck and prepaid them to serve breakfast as a set menu to 45 of my employees as a nice gesture before the holiday break. The contracted time was 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. The food truck did not open until 6:50 a.m. and, when I went out to get my breakfast at 7:10 a.m., I was informed they were out of certain menu items that I had prepaid. No explanation, no offer of a remedy to the situation just rudeness from Daron's co-worker. Had I dealt only with Daron, I feel this would have gone much better; however, Daron's co-worker was rude to several of my employees and rude to me. For being unprofessional, I apologize; for being mad, I do not apologize. After I told them to leave because they could not deliver what I paid for, I had one of my managers to go Chick-Fil-A and they were able to provide breakfast for the 30 remaining people that Island Chef could not serve. None of this has anything to do with work ethic except on the part of the Island Chef food truck. When you are prepaid to serve 45 people, you should come prepared to serve 45 people. I will continue to fight for my employees just as I fight for my customers to be happy. Of the 15 people who were served breakfast, they said it was inedible.
