I went to South Shore Plaza JJill about 5 weeks ago now. I found a dress for a wedding, the clerk advised me to get it in another size, so I said OK, but keep the petite large, just in case. She went on to find one and order it from Michigan, having checked my address. I expected it in a week, it didn't come. After many calls, I even paid someone to house sit to get the package. No one knew where it was, but that it had been delivered. SShore JJill kindly ordered yet another, we tracked it, still nothing shows up. Then 4 weeks in to this, my calling the store near daily, a dress shows up having been hand delivered from an address where I lived over 10 years ago. It was the wrong size. A few days later, another hand delivery, also the wrong size. So a week from the wedding, I no longer had a wait option, returned one of the dresses to the store, and just gave up. In the meanwhile they mail me a sales slip for the second dress, so I know they had the correct address, the problem was somewhere else in your system. I am sorry I waited so long and never did get the right dress, and now the wedding in 5 days away. I can not fault the South Shore store, they were always considerate and tried to be helpful, Ashley in particular, all though I did speak to a lot of them over the course of the 4 weeks. Please address the of twice having gotten the wrong size (MI and PA) dress, and the mailing error... Thank You, I don't hate the dress or the store, or the clerks, only what went wrong.
I have always appreciated the better quality merchandise JJill has to offer and have been willing to pay the upper prices for such. I will not be shopping there any longer due to this experience. I am one of those people if you treat me right I am loyal to the bone but if you try to take advantage I will call you out on it. Today, JJill I call you out on the following: I ordered a top via mail and the quality was far from what I am used to. The fabric was low low end and it showed. I returned the top and was eventually refunded. I did not however get the money I spent back. I was charged over $15.00 non refundable for returning a product that simply was not up to par. I find it incredibly distasteful that your supposed higher end store to actually profit off of customer dissatisfaction. Well there are many many online options that charge NOTHING in shipping costs for returns and that is where my business will be going in the future.
