Poor Service and Follow-Up Customer Service. We have been recommending this company to our clients and friends for years and we've had a few issues in the past that we were able to work through but we should have learned back then. Recently we called to schedule a Carpenter Bee and Ant treatment which is imperative for a log cabin. We made it absolutely clear that we wanted both treatments and asked the person on the phone to confirm what we were ordering. We called A-1 Pest Control two days after our scheduled appointment because it was obvious that no one sprayed for Bees (the tell tale sign is that all of your windows are covered with a film). The morning that the technician was scheduled it was pouring rain, we wrongly assumed that they decided not to spray for Bees because of the rain. We were told that he only sprayed for Carpenter Ants because the ticket only stated Ants (not really sure how effective that is in the rain given that we still have Carpenter Ants). No one that lives in a log cabin in their right mind schedules a service for Carpenter Ants and not Carpenter Bees at the same time and every employee at A-1 Pest Control should be well aware of that. Needless to say, on the follow-up call A-1 Pest Control wanted me to pay for a new Service Call instead of owning their own error. Not going to recommend or use again.

I had been using this company for three years. We originally called because of a snake problem then we signed in to an annual service . Our original technician was great but through the years, weve had at least 4 , each one not knowing what service we ( prepaid) for, not knowing where our services mousetraps were. Only doing outdoor service though we PAID for and in contact for indoor /outdoor and I being the customer would have to call to have some one come out to do inside . They always said so and so was there ... well how did he get inside because I never let him in. The technician always blames the office because i always ask dont you have notes . Why would you ask ME where your traps are? Or how many there are? Thats why I pay you The last time Jared ( I think his name is) was out I asked about the snakes and controlling them he said i should go to Lowes and buy some stuff.... when i called the office she put me in touch with my original tech now manager and he was supposed to come out and assess what service would be best for because I DONT want to go to Lowes , I dont want to deal with snakes or mice period thats why I pay an exterminator... he was great in the phone but never followed up. Our next annual service contract will be with another company after three years. I would NOT recommend

Jamie is very prompt and does a thorough pest treatment. Very dependable. Came back on a second day to treat outside due to high winds and intermittent rain on scheduled day.

Per usual, Greg did a thorough job on the recent A-1 quarterly treatment/service. He checked everything, sprayed inside and out around walls, and dealt with a relatively new bug issue in one of the bathrooms.
