Don came to a house that my wife and I are in the process of buying. From the start he was a bit snarky. I asked if he could give me a quote with each room or section listed individually, he said "we don't do that" and then "what exactly are you trying to do here". I explained I like a detailed quote and it lets me compare easier to other quotes. He then said "this job isn't big enough for us" and then "this isn't gonna work out". I quickly showed him the door. FYI. this is a 6600 sq ft home in Alpharetta with exterior painting. Extremely rude and unpleasant person. My home inspector witnessed the entire incident and could not believe Don's behavior.

Called and spoke to Don about building a new deck. When he asked me about square footage, he said, "Are you sure your deck is that large?" I explained to him that if you were talking about all the wood we want replaced--which includes porches--that, YES, it was that large. I also gave him an approximate sq. footage of the highest portion of the deck by itself and left out the porches which I included in the original estimate. He said, "I just don't think that your estimate is correct. Why don't you call your husband and ask him and let me know what he says or he can call me and talk details." Um. No thank you. I measured it when I got home and my estimation that was off the top of my head was within 25 square feet of the actual size.
