I was excited to get my hair done today after so long. I was disappointed. It's not the best especially for the price I was charged. I asked for blonde highlights.. total $190.. the outcome disappointed me. I was charged full price for a hair cut for a trim and a few barely noticeable layers. I showed a picture of what I wanted and it didn't come close to it. I really don't get my hair done because of being disappointed. For being charged that much I would have expected my hair color and supposedly cut to actually wow me, get me exited and notice a difference. It blew my mind that it took such a longtime for a very little change. I was expecting a big change.

Im so incredibly disappointed with my last experience here. Its been a few days and the more I think about it the more upset and frustrated I get about it. I wanted to get the underneath of my hair bleached to blonde and leave my natural brunette color on top. I brought pictures showing exactly what I wanted and I showed the stylist and explained that I wanted ALL of the hair underneath blonde. When everything was said and done, I ended up with the equivalent of highlights underneath that are barely even noticeable. I have to curl my hair and tuck it behind my ears for the small blonde strands to even be seen. It doesnt look bad, but its not at all what I wanted and I feel like I just wasted my time and my money. I was charged $165 for barely noticeable under highlights. When I told her that I expected it to be more noticeable she told me thats what I showed her I wanted. That it was just pops of color. None of the pics I showed her looked like what I got at all, but I have anxiety and did not want to argue with her. It was incredibly awkward after that and I just wanted to leave. My old stylist back home was flabbergasted that i was charged so much for what i got too. If you go here make sure you know without a doubt that they understand exactly what you want.

I love going to Five! The ambience is lovely and Ive been going to Kristen for as long as I can remember. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else, and the Aveda products always leave my hair feeling and looking great.

My visit was under and below my expectations.. I went there in hopes of getting highlights instead I got a 50 dollar trim and blow dry and was told my hair was too damaged and In order to fix it he would charge me 96 dollars an hour for 5 hours. I went somewhere else and was able to get exactly what I was looking for. I'll never be going to Five Salon again. And you will be getting zero referrals from me.
