I got my Veracruz over a year ago. I was really happy to have my car, and was told EVERYTHING was covered bumper to bumper. Perfect, right? WRONG. These guys are as sleazy as any other used car dealership. Ronnie Thompson and Terry Chung the finance guy both assured us we were fully covered, yet now a little over a year later after we find out the GPS/Radio unit is not factory installed, so it's not covered! Way to sell me on that. Terry pushed Intellipayment on us, telling us how much money we would save. WRONG again Terry. You are a straight up liar. Intellipayment actually charges me more than the interest I would have paid. Whatever you do, don't waste your time with these bozos.
This was my 5th visit to sansone's service dept.i have leased 3 vehicles over the last 15 years and also bought a used vehicle there.I WILL NEVER BUY OR LEASE ANOTHER VEHICLE THERE AGAIN! Their sales dept is fine , their service dept is horrible...
They where extremely helpful. We went to get a Prius C, after spending the whole afternoon there, we left with a Prius. And it was the cheapest price around the area too. Cheaper than listings on Truecar, Cheaper than Consumer Report + Truecar price! Which was amazing. Very happy with our purchase.
Reasonably fast repair to complex electrical problem under warranty. No paperwork hassle. Fixed the first time. $0.00 charge. Just wish they were closer to me.
These guys are outright criminals. I went there with a TrueCar pricing report for an in-stock vehicle. The TrueCar vehicle had almost $500 worth of options that weren't on the sticker for the vehicle on the lot. So right off the bat, their "TrueCar" report has been padded by $500. Not to mention the $400 fee to "prepare documents" (I don't know how many people they have working on these documents to put through a purchase in less than a day, but it's got to be about fifty to justify that cost). FYI, the NY limit for doc fees is $75. Once we agreed on the price of the vehicle, they tried sneaking over $3,000 worth of dealer-installed "options." $600 to fill the tires with nitrogen. $295 for their "vehicle preparation" (a glorified car wash). $800 for their "appearance package" of ugly pinstripes they put below the windows of every vehicle they sell. These were just the more ridiculous "extras" they try to gauge you with. I finally got them to remove all the dealer-installed BS, and we got to talking about trade-in. Using Edmunds, KBB and Nada, I saw that I should expect $11,500 for my vehicle (it's in excellent condition, but I know that dealers always undercut the expected price, so I went TWO conditions down, to "OK" condition). Not only did they offer me an insulting price of $8,000 for my vehicle, but when I asked for a print-out of the pricing report they got from their "proprietary" book value system, they refused to give me one because of some BS excuse. I then asked to at least see the screen of the computer, and they once again refused. I will repeat, these guys are criminals. The only reason they're able to get away with their business practices is because people aren't willing to pay a $13 toll to get in to Staten Island or the other NYC boroughs. After this experience I went to Manfredi Mazda on Staten Island and reached an acceptable deal within 30 minutes of talking. And I only paid the $75 doc fee in addition to the price of the vehicle. Suck a big fat one, Sansone. You guys are the worst, and you've lost a repeat customer.
